I have sent all the template letters to NAT West and called them several times. I have been on again this morning just to see if they will pay up before I press the button on the online court application - but they say they cannot see if anything happening on this as they are only customer services. Can you tell me what number you used please and I will give it a go before I send the claim to county court. Cheers J

I had exactly the same issue with NatWest relating to one single charge made in error triggering months of charges mounting up to about £300.
It took a couple of letters but I got all the charges refunded. What you need to do is chronilogically list all charges and their cause (a previous charge).
The advantage that I has was, to quote Monopoly, "Bank Error in my favour". You may not be able to claim all the charges back but you should be able to reach an agreement that the perpetuation of the current situation is unacceptable. I would hope that NatWest would refund most of the charges, which from the sounds of it would solve this issue for your son.

What a feeling!!!
Letter popped through my letter box this morning.
Wrote 1 letter to them on 15th february 2007 asking for my charges back, heard nothing up until today.
Offered me a good will gesture of £1456.00. Snapped that straight up.
Thanks Martin0 -
