I'm in the process of putting together a list of charges I want to claim back from NatWest.

Over the course of 6 years I have been charged about £2k in overdraft arrangement fees - does anyone know if I can claim these costs back?

Any help would be appreciated.

i have sent two letters off to natwest both recorded delivery with two postal orders for 10 pounds each. i sent them for my statements on my credit card and current accounts. they are processing my current account request but my credit card request was sent to the credit card office at another address, which now they are telling me they do not have. my question is, i sent my letter to their customer service head office, is it my problem that i should have sent it to this credit card office, or do they still have to comply with the 40 days

Ive Just Got Off The Phone To Natwest, Was Put Through To The Brighton Centre (After An Over Efficient Lad Tried To Put Me Through To Someone Who Could Sign Me Up For Telephone Banking), I Asked VERY Politely If They Had A Record Of My Claim And Was Told They Sent Me A Letter On The 12th Offering Me My £38.00 - Now I Did Not Receive This So EITHER They Are Lying OR My Post Has Been Stolen YET AGAIN (The Joys Of Living With A Pervert Who Snoops Around Your Room & Steals Your Mail, But When Your Skint Like Me You Dont Have Many Options ) Anyway I Asked Him To Fax The Letter And Was Told They Dont have A Fax Machine (BO***CKS) So I Said Email, He Said NO

Anyway They Are Meant To Be Sending Me The Letter Again So Fingers Crossed I Should Get It Next Week, I KNow Its Only £38.00 But Im Really Chuffed x

Bl**dy Cobbetts put the wrong claim number on the front of my letter from them regarding defence...so off I went to fill out a N244 form to change my particulars of claim and what claim number do you think I used??!:mad:

I stupidly took the claim number from their letter and put it on my form...so anyway I have to fill the bl**dy thing in again as it is being sent back to me..

still no sign of a hearing date though.

Can I ask, what does everyone mean when they talk about court bundle??

Just got off the phone with Natwest. After just one letter (which they lost so we sent them a copy along with proof of recorded delivery) they have offered us the full amount verbally (£3157.00) but without interest. They said the letter is in the post. We are going to accept it. Yay, success. Just gotta wait now for the letter confirming it in black and white and I'll post it on the success board.

Thanks to all on this forum for your invaluable help and advice, it is really appreciated. Would recommend anyone to try and claim back what is righfully theirs.

Visit https://www.royalmail.com to check if it's been signed for, and if it has then phone the bank.

have done that and it was delivered on the 20th .

whats would i need to say to them , and would i need to phone local branch ?

or is it best just to wait for the 14 days ? as i don't wanna put pressure on. but i hate waiting, lol
