Should i just send them a court letter now as this has gone on to long.
Yes I would definately send the court letter - I know the banks will have a back log of people claiming now but 3 months is just silly
Good luck0 -
Hi Guys,
Just a quick question, I sent NatWest my letter with copy of bank statements, recorded delivery on 6/2 (I've checked with post office, and it was def. received) I have had no acknowledgement or reply. How long do you think I should wait ?
Thanks

I am just filling in the court letter on moneyclaim.gov.
I think they just fob people off and think they won`t take it any further.0 -

That's definately what they think and unfortunately, they do put some people off with their letters etc.
Good luck to you and keep us posted0 -

Not sure. I am still waiting for my statements and I sent my original request to an Edinburgh address? Have you used this address also?
I think maybe write to the head office0 -
Hi all
I wrote a letter to Alex Lyons, Data Protection Manager for statements for both a current account and also a closed Credit Card on 15th Feb. I phoned up today and the call centre can't see any requests for anything on their systems.
So the CS agent said they would be happy to send me 6yrs of staments free of charge for the current account it will take no longer than a week. :j He did however say that I need to speak to another number for the credit card statements. He gave me an 0870 number.
I did a search on SAYNOTO0870 and phoned using a geographical number. They will also be happy to send out statements as they also have not received any request - in this instance it will take about 3 weeks as they have "recently had a lot of requests for statements".
My question, do I treat the two seperately or shall I wait for the credit card statements to arrive and then do a joint claim?
TIA

I've not heard anything yet what should my next move be??0 -
Thanks to all for their help so far. I'm just completing my form on moneyclaim, having spoken to someone at Borehamwood this morning who confirmed that this is 'still being looked into' (original request to reclaim fees was 24th Jan with 7 day letter sent over a week ago - so they're definitely either horribly backlogged or just delaying as much as possible) - now although there are so many success stories here, this step is still a little scary - can someone help with a couple of questions re the moneyclaim form please?
1) the suggested wording on this site goes quite a bit over the '1080 characters on 24 lines' allowed in the 'particulars of claim' section of the moneyclaim form. However, all the wording suggested on this site looks as though it is necessary - how have people 'trimmed' this to get it down to size?!
2) the amount of interest has obviously increased since my original claim. I put the new amount in, right...? even though now the two won't match up?
3) 'Does or will your claim include any issues under the Human Rights Act 1998?' - I haven't the foggiest :-) anyone help here?
Many thanks!0 -
