In my initial letter to HSBC, can I ask about my sole accounts, my OH's sole accounts, our (closed) joint account, and OH (closed) credit card?
Or do I have to write specific letters from each person?1st letters received on 16.02.07 for HSBC, Goldfish, Tesco, RBoS & Lloyds TSB0 -

You need to write a letter for all of your accounts, a letter for you OHs accounts and a letter for the joint accounts.Bank charges reclaimed: HSBC £1990

jennyowen wrote:Thanks for that, I've just done a spreadsheet too. My statements only say 'charge' or 'total charge' so that's all the detail they can have I'm afraid. Did you put more detail on yours? And yes, don't worry I kept a copy of all my statements but they'd sent them back with the letter anyway!
Do you think I should stick with the original 14day deadline or start again from the day they receive the new detailed spreadsheet???
i WOULD STICK TO YOUR DEADLINES TBH, I DONT THINK I DID MINE RIGHT, ALL I DID WAS PUT STATEMENT DATE AND TOTAL AMOUNT OF CHARGES, I DIDNT DETAIL EACH INDIVIDUAL ONE, whoops sorry about caps! I'll get you debts and your little dog too!!! :mad:And best of luck to all the other debt busters out there!!:beer:0 -

Hello.
I sent off a letter in early Janurary for my charges and have had nothing other than the usual we are dealing with the matter. Has anyone heard anything from HSBC recently? I'm thinking of going to court but I don't want to that if they send an offer next week.

Have you sent them the letter before action yet? If not do that now and see if they reply to that.0
