Yes, you should. Make sure you keep a note of the number so you can track it and, if needs be, tell them exactly who signed for it.0

Hi, hubby sent his first letter and lba, got a letter back offering him less than what he wanted, so yesterday he went to the local county court to issue his claim ( he doesnt have a credit card so couldnt do it online), i helped him fill in the details in the particulars of claim but i have since realised i put the wrong address down, i put the reply address to when we got the offer of less money, not the banks registered address. The claim form came with a guide to how to fill in details and it says:
enter the full name of the corporation and any suffix if appropriate and the address including postcode in England and Wales which is either its principal office or any other place where the corporation carries on activities and which has a real connection with the claim
After all that hardwork and writing very small so all the details fitted on the form, I just hope i havent made a mistake at the last hurdle.
I put the address on the claim form as
HSBC bank plc
Arlington Business Centre
Millshaw Park Lane
Leeds LS11 0PP
According to the notes from the court, it seems ok, but i just wanted to double check. The 28 days will be Christmas Day, happy that its not just the turkey getting a stuffing hahaha:rotfl:
Hubby is claiming £2969, and has promised me £500 for helping him sort it out.And yes the lady in the avatar is me

Hi,
I'd like to start the process of claiming back bank charges from HSBC on my current account. However, the account is no longer usable and I am currently paying back my overdraft to HSBC. I'm also paying back my credit card with HSBC, which is dealt with by another department as I couldn't afford the minimum payments (currently no interest or charges are being added to balance as I pay them regularly). If I pursue HSBC to recover the bank charges will HSBC demand I pay my overdraft and credit card balances in full?£2013 in 2013 £866.71/£2013

taking HSBC to court, i've sent the first letter. got a standard replie about charges being part of the banks policy etc...
So with help and support of my partener (and his father who's done this himself and got his money back) i filed my claim to court for 1303 pounds in charges and hsbc are defening it, which i know is rare. it's worrying and makes me think whats so different about my case and why are they defening it? :eek:0 -

It's not rare for banks to defend. This is fairly common. You should be fine if you stick to the instructions in the article.0 -
ooooo! I sent my first letter the other day asking for my charges back to hsbc... now I am scared after reading this  I had not actually read anything about banks actually going to court. I thought it doesn't get that far normally.... I was excited about the prospect of receiving a reply... not so sure nowApril 2014: A CAR!!!!!! :j 60th Anniversary Edition of Playboy mag signed by Hugh Hefner/Family pass to Twinlakes Family Theme Park/Rio 2 Goodies/£15 Promod Voucher/Nivea Sensitive Prize pack/John Frieda Cosmetic bag and bits/Tickets to New Kids On The Block + Meet and Greet0
