Hi thanks Trace and Lou, I'm claiming with interest about £1600.

Lou's right! E mail is the best way! They do answer. I think you'll probably get an offer, within the 8 wks, just my opinion, so stick with it!
    Good luck x

  • I've looked up on the forum for a while now but never posted so here i go ! I'm after adivce. I've got to the point were HSBC have made me an offer on two accounts for a total of £1686.15 ( one is a massive £18 i hadn't even claimed for ?), my total claim icl. % is £4251.52. They have yet to offer me anything on one account ? They have highlighted i have calimed for a charge of £50 which had already been refunded and i have gone back further than 6 years (only because they have taken untill 02/07/2007 to reply to my original letter dated 16/05/2007) . I had already actioned my claim through moneyclaim which was issued on 20/06/2007, HSBC ackowledged service 22/06/2207 and intend to defend all the claim with their inhouse solicitor, DG Solicitors. I need assurance i'm doing all i can to make my claim succesful, should i adjust my claim regarding the £50 they claim i have already been refunded ? and where do i stand with the 6 yrs dates ? PLEASE HELP ME i come so far i first requested my statements 21/03/2007.

  • Hiya People.

i have sent in my first letter and i got the standard response saying they will respond in 8 weeks. Well that was almost 10 weeks ago now and i have still yet to receive an offer. i have phoned up twice now and they have said the letter already went out and they will issue another one and that was a week ago and still nothing.
