As a previous post says, there seems to be no consistency to their methods. I had an email on Monday 2nd saying a letter HAD been sent out and received it yesterday, it was dated 3rd July. They don't seem to have an 'standard' practices when it comes to how much they are paying out or when the letters are being sent out or the accounts credited!!

Hang on in there, it should turn up anyday now..........

thanks well i am not the most patient person rang them up and asked again if i could go into my local branch to sign instead (i did ask twice in two different emails but was ignored) and htey said yes so going in in the morning to sign at my local branch not that it will make much difference and i hardly think anything will be done until monday onwards now oh well mother in law it is then!

  • Hi all:j :T :j

Have today received my offer letter through post. It took just over the eight weeks, one letter and a few emails to prompt them into hurrying case. I was offered £1,857.25 was claiming £2,333. But apparently they said i had made an error in my calculations and my total charges were £1960. Im not going to even go down that route of arguing with them i shall just sign acceptance form and send it back.

I am absolutely estatic that at last i can pay of council tax arrears and some
rent and have a bit of money behind me.

So to everyone out there, wait the eight weeks and you should get your payout, this seems to be the quickest way.

Will post on the success forum later today, but at present have got a raging hangover from last night and am finding it dificult to comcentrate:rotfl: :rotfl:
