I too have a claim with the wonderful HSBC and have called them to see how this is progressing. I have been told that they have been advised by the FSA that they have 8 weeks to complete your claim from the date they receive your first letter, I was also told that they are approx two weeks behind dealing with claims and my claim which they received on March 19th will be dealt with in the next two weeks. i have advised them that I will commence a cliam on MCOL at the end of this week if i do not receive a refund by then. but may just out of courtesy give them another week!

    Hi Lou.

    13th July - ouch.

I seem to remember that HSBC entered its defence for our claims on the same day, so I'll be legging it home to check my post in a bit.

I had hoped for a court date this site of June. Curses. That means I won't get my money before I move house so I'll be living without furniture for a few weeks by the look of things.

Hi Q. I'm hoping that the claim that went to the other court (God knows why they've gone to two different ones) will come through a bit quicker. I need my money!

Make sure you post on here to say when your date is - be interesting to see what happens next - i think they're likely to pay up a day or so before the date.

What's the update on HSBC***S timescale. I have now waited 2 weeks after sending the first demand with copies of statements and have just got back a standard letter so I am just about to send the one threatening court action. Just curious as it seems the goal posts have been shifted.

Seems to be 8 weeks with majority of cases receiving an offer on the deadline.

No problem. You are so close to getting your money! Is your left hand itching? (or is it the right hand?) I wouldn't mind betting that you get an offer before you even get the judgement. Don't forget that you're entitled to interest up until the date of judgement. multiply the amount by 0.00026 to get the daily rate and add it on.

The total amount inc interest or just the interest?
 I'll get you debts and your little dog too!!!
And best of luck to all the other debt busters out there!!
