If they didn't file a defence within the 28 days (14 if they didn't acknowledge your claim) you can file a defence. If the court has said that you need to file a judgement, get down there, get the form and do it. Unusual for HSBC not to be on the ball with their paperwork, but you may have slipped through the net.
Getting the judgement sorted is easy. You just need the form, but do it soon so that HSBC don't ask for it to be set aside while they send their documents in in the mean time.
The court is sending it to me, what exactly does it mean tho? I'll get you debts and your little dog too!!! :mad:And best of luck to all the other debt busters out there!!:beer:0 -

Once you've filled it out and sent it to the court, you have judgement (request it 'forthwith') which means they need to pay immediately, if they don't you get the bailiffs in. You're nearly there...
Is there any way that you can get to the court and fill it in there? It would save a few days.Lou0 -

This website has a number of forms including some that are online which would help, but i don't know the form number. Any chance you could ring the court and ask? Then you could use this link to download the pdf.
Good luckLou0 -

No problem. You are so close to getting your money! Is your left hand itching? (or is it the right hand?) I wouldn't mind betting that you get an offer before you even get the judgement. Don't forget that you're entitled to interest up until the date of judgement. multiply the amount by 0.00026 to get the daily rate and add it on.Lou0

I just sent first letter 12 days ago to reclaim £892 and had a response from HSBC stating that they are looking in to my account and will be in touch with me soon, is this normal or should i move on to the next of the process?0

Some say stick to own deadlines , but from reading most threads it seems that HSBC are generating and offer after 8 weeks and no letter previous to this seems to make any difference. Mine is due in next two days and I am glad I have held of MCOL up to now.
Although obviously I will be proved wrong if the offer is no good
From own experience you cant rush things , they take as long as they take unless you're one of the lucky onesHSBC Claimed £2519 , Paid £2300 - cheque recieved
Capital One Claimed £300 , £144 offered , court threat 09/05
Halifax Credit Card - Statements requested
Halifax Current Account - Statements requested
Black Horse Loan - Statements requested
Halifax Mortgage - Need to do next0 -
HSBC
Requested £2,425
Paid £2,035
Took the two template letters and eight weeks.
There were many times that I didn't think they'd pay up. But they did in the end.
Don't give up, they'll pay in the end!!!0
