  • bumping this from previous page. Thanks.
Hi, recieved a letter from the courts this morning and I have no idea what it means but it looks ominous.
Recieved my transfer documents on the 12th of April transferring my case to Lmbeth county courts asHSBC had put in a defence, then heard nothing untill today when i have recieved a 'General Form of Judgement or Order'
    It says the following:

    <---

Before DISTRICT JUDGE ZIMMELS sitting at Lambeth County Court, Cleaver Street, Kennington Road, London, SE11 4DZ.

    Upon neither party attending

    IT IS ORDERED THAT

    1. Case transferred to London Mercantite court DX 44450 SRTAND

    Dated 18 April 2007

    --->

This sounds a littel to me like I have somehow missed my court case but i find it hard to believe it was held 6 days after i recoieved my transfer dpcuments.

    HELP PLEASE.

Fingers crossed!! I phoned on friday to point out they should respond within 8 weeks of signing for the letter , not when they bothered to log it onto their system, which would make the 8 weeks up for me tomorrow too! Was told i will get a letter this week! We shall see!!!

I didnt wait the 8 weeks THEY wanted me to wait, I stuck to the timetable I wanted (the one suggested on here).
  • I received my offer from HSBC today - 8 weeks after my first letter. Didn't have the money to take them to court so held out. I asked for £1647 and the offer is for £1505. I am pleased with that and will be accepting. However, I do have a Managed Loan which is currently in arrears of £80 thanks to the Bank Charges!! I know that the money going in to my account will be used to clear the arrears but wondered if anyone knew whether they would use the rest of the money to clear some of the Managed Loan itself? I do not have access to this account as the HSBC have put a stop on it and taken my card away from me.

If anyone has any experience of reclaimed Bank charges being used to repay Managed Loans I would be grateful for some help.

    Thanks

True enough to form HSBC have seemingly stuck to their timescales.
8 weeks up today , rang them and was advised an offer was generated 26th and posted Fri (I have redirection on my post at mo) so should receive any day, If nothing by Wed then MCOL but looking like positive news .

As to how much the offer will be be (claiming 2636 no interest) , then that is anybodys guess.
