You're welcome. That would be the correct course of action and once again, good luck :)

    Hi,

I have a similar query to this. I sent my original letter asking for my charges back over 2 months ago. I got a reply saying that they are dealing with my request to which I replied with an acknowledgement (purely so i could get proof of post and reference date). I left it a further 25 days (about 15 working days with the easter holidays) before replying giving them a further 7 working days to respond before I commence court action.

The 7 days are up and I aim to complete the online claims form tomorrow (response or not). I just wanted to assure myself that I'm doing the right thing. I have proof of post for the last 2 letters and haven't had a response at all since 'we are dealing with you' letter. Any info will be mucho helpful.

    Also:

1 - I printed my statements from the HSBC website and the way the charges appeared on the print-out are 'total charges' or 'charge'. Which is what I sent on the spreadsheet. However, if you look online there are hyperlinks to further descriptions of the charges. I wondered if this could be contested, or if anyone else has done this?

2 - Does anyone please have the link to the online claims form help guide? Do you know how much it'll cost me at the outset? Set cost or percentage?

I started my claim in december, having gone through sending all the letters,MCOL,defence, then to local court and sending al relevent papaers,i re sent all my charges as requested to D&G solicitors 13th March again and numerous calls later and still not heard from them apart from a call 3 weeks ago saying they were looking into it. Would anyone advise sending them a letter or getting in touch with the court ?

    Thanks :j

Just received a letter stating that HSBC will pay back over £1500 of owed charges, but they want to put it into my original HSBC account. I want nothing more to do with them, and they've frozen the account anyway due to an IVA going through.

Can I get the amount paid by cheque, or into another bank account?
