Hi TAMIE 2 I sent my first 2 letters to branch then after reading threads sent another with copies of first 2 to:-
Colin Langdale
Senior Service Quality Officer
HSBC
Arlington Business centre
Millshaw Park Lane
Leeds
LS11 0PP
As I understand branch passes all letters on to Leeds anyway so this just speeds up the process, send it recorded delivery. Hope this helps good luck.:rotfl:0 -

This is their usual fob-off tactic so just press ahead with the next letter. You'll probably get another letter within a week or so giving a date where Mr Langdale has finished his investigations or trying to drag it out further - just stick to your timetable. Best of luck.
Thanks for advice I will send the next letter in today.0 -
Hi All,

I just phoned up HSBC to see if they have my letters and they guy confirmed they have I am on the 2nd letter stage. I said I had not had any confirmation from them I was told a letter was sent in the post (I didnt get I have asked for a copy) this tells me they have 8 weeks? from my letter dated 19/3! I gave them 14 days - do I wait 8 weeks? or my 14 days??

Right i'm getting scared, HSBC have put in a defense against my claim and it is now proceeding to the County Court. Do you think it will get this far, and if it does what can i expect. Please help as i am starting to panic.

I really wouldn't worry about it. They put in a defence as a stalling tactic sometimes, but they don't show up in court to defend their charges - you'll find HSBC will back down, maybe at the last minute, and pay up
