Hi no joy yet, am a bit confused about what is happening at the moment so would be good if someone can help by explaining (without abreves if poss).
Had my allocation questionaire thru filled it out, not that much needed filling and sent it back, what happens now??? Charges keep building up and I am tempted to send a further claim to 'sir colin of time waisting' requesting that he refund my charges since jan 07 ontop of original claim before its gets to court (is this a good idea, nearly £1000 since jan)
Can anyone shed some light? I'll get you debts and your little dog too!!! :mad:And best of luck to all the other debt busters out there!!:beer:0 -
Hi everybody...
Are the banks paying up only if you go to court? I am in the position and so is my sister that we can't afford to go through court, however i sent my 1st letter dated 19th March 2007 asking for my charges back which amounted to £3210.60. Sent my 2nd letter on the 9th April 2007, no response from HSBC. I phoned them last week and complained and asked how my claim was coming on because i had not recieved a reply from them. The customer care explained that my complaint was been dealt with but it would take up to 8 weeks to investigate. 12 April 2007 got a reply from our friend Colin saying the usual that he was looking into my complaint. Not heard anything else. sent my third letter today 16th April 2007. Just getting scared cos i can't afford the courts.0 -

Have started my claim to recover £3870.41 on 31 March 2007. Recieved standard letter from Con_lin dated 12 April 2007. Was wondering if I should press ahead with follow up letter now or give till end of week?0

Evening.
This is their usual fob-off tactic so just press ahead with the next letter. You'll probably get another letter within a week or so giving a date where Mr Langdale has finished his investigations or trying to drag it out further - just stick to your timetable. Best of luck.0 -
Hi all,
Great to hear your stories ! just got off the phone with HSBC who received my second letter, threatening court action, yesterday. They are still claiming it will take 8 weeks to decide whether or not they will be paying my charges back - i have told them that i plan to stick to my own timescale and if i have not heard within 14 days i will be proceeding with court action !! 8 weeks??? is this them merely trying to fob me off???
Well done and good luck! i look forward to posting my own success story !0 -

Yes, you're doing the right thing by sticking to your timetable.0 -

Can anyone tell me once the MCOL is filed how long does it take from there?
Is it 28 days from the date of the claim with the court or is it dragged out longer?0
