Hmmm - i was advised to issue MCOL proceedings to the Leeds address - and have just done so. Looking back over this thread it seems you can send online claims there.
Anyone got anything to add to the proceedings?! I'll need to contact MCOL if Leeds is not suitable...

EEEEK, i have just phoned HSBC as suprise suprise they havent got back to me yet and my offer letter should have been here today. They have told me that there is a letter in the post which should be with me within 2 working days, i assume this will be the standard we are very busy and are looking in to it letter. How long should i wait from the date of this "delay tactic" letter before i take them to court. And has any one taken them to court recently? Id like to know what the feed abck is as im getting a bit nervous about it all.
Thanks

I've got a load of exam fees to pay for and it would come in really handy!
Thanks,

Hi
I received a letter from DG Sols this morning saying that they would credit my account with the money within seven days. Which would be fine except the account was closed a couple of years ago. I wrote on the acceptance letter that payment would need to be by cheque.
Is this just a standard letter or do you think I should give them a ring?
Thanks,

Hi
I sent my first letter to HSBC around 4 weeks ago, I received a letter back saying I had to breakdown each indivual case, which I did and I havent received a response since.
I sent a letter 2 weeks ago stating that if i didnt receive a response by 9.3.07 I will be issuing court proceedings.
Can anybody confirm if i have been sending the letters to the correct address which is - The Manager, Service Quality Team, HSBC Bank plc, Arlington Business Centre, Millshaw Park Lane, Leeds, LS11 0PP. I have also sent the letters via e-mail to (servicequality@hsbc.com)
Should I still go ahead and file the claim tomorrow?
Thanks a lot

Whats the consensus on receiving the letter "Investigating it and will get back to you"
Do i ring them up, im gonna send the next letter when its time, which is beginning of next week, but by ringing them up will it give me any idea on the stage im at? Offer in the post etc?0 -
When you send them the first letter detailing the charges and asking for them back and giving them 14 days to respond, is that 14 days from when you post the letter or 14 days from when they receive it? I posted a letter on Monday which was delivered yesterday according to the royal mail tracking so do I give them 14 days from yesterday or 14 days from Monday?
Thanks0 -

I've always given 14 days from the date of the letter. That's a bit of a formality reality and one that the Banks would recognise. I make a note in my diary for exactly 14 days from the date of the letter/date I post it and then, wham, send another letter off... Good luck! LouLou0 -

I spoke to HSBC today to see how my claim's getting on. Last Fri I sent an e-mail asking about it through the internet banking and received a reply on Mon saying that they're sorry I'm still waiting and that they would put my case a s a priority as I'd already been falsely told that my claim would be seen to the previous week.
The chap I spoke to today said that this again was a mistake and shouldn't have been said as there are no priority cases. I asked to speak to a manager about it and they said he was busy but would call me back, as you can imagine by my fury he failed to call back at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just you wait till tomorrow mister manager, you've had it:mad:  :mad:So far:-

Leeds address is fine - it has been acknowledged and signed off for a defence by Kate Eaves of DG Solicitors. So the message has been recieved loud and clear.
Wont argue the point about offices, seems that whichever door you go through, you still end up in the same room.0 -
Many Thanks.I will hit back with a letter asap.0
