I had my free £10 of shopping delivered this morning by our lovely milkman and he even gave us a free banana milkshake as it was going out of date this weekend! I was so delighted with the service that we will be ordering from him on a regular basis. Now that's good marketing...0

i was so excited about this offer, but my delivery was bad bad bad. Arrived early enuff (mum found it @ 8.30am) HOWEVER it was just placed on the doorstep. NO BAGS or anything, just 8 items on the step.
How do they not even have a USED carrier bag??????? GUTTED as I was hoping to start using them due to the monthly invoicing...0 -

If it was Tesco on the other hand, I would have no such problem
Yes I totally agree with you re Tesco.
I wont do the milkman deal because its not something I would continue to do and I would feel guilty.Never argue with a fool, they will lower you to their level and then beat you with experience.........!!!:rotfl::T0 -

I am a bit confused here, why do you need the stuff to be in a bag? You are only carrying it a short distance. The milkman in my experience never used bags, and that was before we were trying to cut down on the use of bags etc to be more environmentally friendly.
I remember in the good old days when I was a kid and we had Express dairy delivering to us every day, the stuff, ie eggs, juice, milk cheese etc was always left on the step.Never argue with a fool, they will lower you to their level and then beat you with experience.........!!!:rotfl::T0 -
I looked at this offer, but kinda feel a bit guilty using it, and thats not like me as I do like a bargain lol but I feel the milkman is a dying breed and I know alot of them are struggling to keep going due to the supermarkets being much cheaper. Just wondered if anyone else thought this.
Ps I am not saying this to upset of offend anyone, so apologise in advance if it does, just wondered if anyone else kinda knew where I was coming from.
I dont feel guilty as I will use again when I need to but it wont be regular as they are quite expensive and also I notice that all my items are very close to sell by date.0 -
did anyone get charged like some people did when the offer first started?Best wins in 2013 £200 and Mini iPad. 2014 no wins. 2015 2 nights 5* hotel with £300 vouchers plus £1150 Harrods gift card

I noticed this with the bread, i was ordering their Kingsmill Great Everyday Bread Soft White Thick Cut bread and although the expiry date was about four days off the bottom half of the loaf was far from soft but i think that is down to kingsmill themselves.
I tried ordering Kingsmill Gold Farmhouse Bread Soft White as an alternative but the loaf expired in less than 48 hours and was rather stale so no more bread for me well from milk and more that's for sure!0 -
They don't deliver in NW London! Must say I'm very surprised! ;o)

Argh, i stupidly made an order and was not sure whether the code had been confirmed and paid for it by one off payment, so £9.81 has been debited from my account!
I cancelled the order straight away but does anyone know how long my refund will take? I am really broke at the moment and need it asap to be honest.
I have now managed to complete the order process (including having to set up the regular direct debit which i will cancel) complete with discount. But argh, i am such an idiot sometimes! I was pressing the 'save' button or something under the discount code box and not the 'go' one next to it and thought that the money would come off later or something.0
