New Car ------ No Deal

www.dealdrivers.co.uk have Fiesta 1.25 3dr Edge available through their dealers at £9225 in either silver or black. I know it isn't the exact trim level you're looking for, but is fairly close.
Ultimately, you have to buy from whoever you feel most comfortable buying from. I'm amazed that the dealers are doing so well that they aren't offering you any discount (is that because it is the most basic Fiesta that you want and they don't have any in stock - did you ask about discounts on anything they have in stock?).
Still, they obviously don't want or need your business, so I'd go somewhere that does!!
Cheapest I can find is £9495 for that model, even the basic studio is down as £9279 on their website today.0 -

Some motorists get so wound up in doing the best deal they lose sight entirely of the point of the exercise.
I don't think the OP will ever buy a car.0 -

I`ve already got one. :rotfl:0 -
I'm not entirely surprised by this to be honest. I've seriously considered buying a Ford Focus twice when I've been changing cars, and on neither occasion would the dealers in the showroom shift off list price.
On the basis that nobody pays list price for a Ford I took my business elsewhere (VW and Toyota respectively). The Ford dealers just didn't seem interested in actually doing a deal.0 -
Been following this thread but opted not to say anything.
? for OP - Is it the new Focus that you were asking after, if it is you won't get any discount, or I'd be surprised if you did.
I'm an avid reader of Whatcar and I think in the current edition they're still going on about the savings of the old model, and also what you should be looking for, including sales promotions from Ford, obviously the dealers close to you are trying to maximise their profit from you.
If you've exhausted those lines of enquiry the best bet will be to do something online, don't know of any companies to recommend apart from Broadspeed, my boss got a good deal off them and sourced a car in Liverpool, we're in Glasgow, free delivery too and saved something like £3k on a top of the range Smart car fully loaded with extra's.Thanks to all the competition posters.0
