    Good morning all

A day off work for me and I'm meeting a friend later for some lovely girlie shop and chat. So got up really early and made soup and a pasta bake. Got washing and ironing done and in a bit off to do recycling, walk dog and fill up the car.

Later today when I get back in Our Sid will ask me in an indulgent voice if I enjoyed my day off as if he arranged it as a special treat for me. Men!
  • Valentines day didn't go to play for me..........his roses arrived on Friday and when I handed over his card this morning with his gift bag of dafties he opened it and..............I had forgotten to write it..............and I had found a lovely verse to put into it. I got some lovely earrings :)

Thank you for your lovely mail Jackie o---i hope my wife and i can keep the romance going forever.--neither of us as romantic but the love and comfort is there!

İ am suited n booted and ready for work--the last 2 weeks have been my last free time til june --its 7 days a week now until the end of June so there will be no time to wollow!
DH actually encourages me to be lazy about the house and keep my pjs on because she knows how hard i work during the term and she wants me to be completely rested--if i was in the uk i would probably be signed off putting my feet up because of my illness but i am not like that and i want to work for my family and a great future.---i love my wife because she understands and knows what is good for me.

Morning all, I havent been here for a while life just got a bit on top. Jackie your story is very romantic.
We just do cards we've been together 12 years this year one day he might make an honest women of me but 2 kids a house and a dog show the commitment. I am putting the kids to bed early tonight and I will cook something nice and open a bottle of wine.
I got a job on Friday, I am now a dinner lady at the kids school, it fits in perfectly with the kids and studying only an hour a day and its only 10minutes down the road, every little extra helps too.
Have a good day every one. xxx

    Morning every:kisses3::smileyheabody, HAPPY VALENTINES DAY:D
Got up to a blue sky this morning, not to chilly.Woofer walked , fed and watered.Beef casserole in slow cooker and just about to be switched on.My daughter got a surprise this morn there was a knock on the door just after 8 this morning and there was a lady there with a bunch of roses (from tesco I think) and a card and teddy .The lady said they were from her son but he was to shy to give them to her so she was dropping them off on her way to work, but didnt say who her son was so dd has gone off to school with a huge grin on her face determind to find out who they are from.Bless ;).man coming this morning to artex the livingroom ceiling as there is an unsightly gap on the ceiling where the wall was last week. Not to much to do here today as house got blitz over the weekend:) so nice lazy day .Love and hugs to all have a lovely day

    Morning All,

Happy Valentine Day , especially to Halight you old smoothy;)

I agree. We don't really do the card or pressie thing today but he tells me he loves me every day, we always hold hands and 28 yrs on he still makes my tummy turn over:p

Just a quickie this morning off to see my daughter and a trip round the charity shops and a nice lunch. The sun is shining, the house is clean and tea is a quick curry from yesterdays leftover roast lamb.

JulieGeorgiana, do you have a list of the foods your eating, sounds great and healthwise I really need to change my diet but don't know were to start. Any info would be great:)

    Have a lovely day x

Happy V-day all, I am loving halight's crazy post :D
Am up late and feeling a little crazy, just popping in to centre my shakras (or whatever, chill my beans!!) before uni. Fly lady stuff to do when I get back, then catch up on the daily thread before I tuck into the humongous pile of assignments I'll have by the end of the day!
I got red wine on my beige carpet last night, mostly got the stain up last night but left it covered with bicarb and have decided carpet cleaning will have to be done at some point :( BOOO!!!!

Right, hugs to all and hope you have good days!!
