Carlton Park is the Narborough, Leics. address. Eventually, after playing around a little, the website accept it. Thanks for your help.Wins since 2009 = £17,600MANY THANKS TO ALL OPS0 -
Today, I am going to start my first steps in reclaiming unfair bank charges against Alliance & Leicester.
If all goes well, then I will reclaim against Lloyds TSB (a full 6 years, so a lot of charges) later on.
I have a few questions first....
1) It is best to close the accounts(one premier account & one savings) down today? They only have a total of £3.93 in them. That way no more £5.00 underfunding fee.
2) I have two seperate charges of £34 for unpaid direct debits. At the time I phoned them and they refunded 50% back, so do I only claim £17 for each charge(plus interest)?
3) I opened my account online, so my branch address is the one in Bootle, Merseyside, GIR 0AA.
Do I use this address for all the letters? I have a record of all my charges from my bank statements. so the first letter I am sending is to ask for all the charges back.
Sorry to bump this. I know you are all very busy people.0 -

It was sent recorded delivery and they havent yet received it checked by phone and also with Royal Mail. Royal Mail will not look into the missing letter yet saying that they have to wait til 11th April  for it to be declared missing.
Should I wait that length of time or just send another copy of the letter. Has anyone else experienced loss of letters?
can anyone advise please?0 -

I had the same problem with royal mail and A&L, basically royal mail told me it had gone missing when in fact it hadnt, they had 19 letters to post on the same day i sent my first letter to them, so it had been sent but they only get 1 signiture which is under a different tracking number, i sugest you ring them again and explain, i did and within a few days i received a letter through the post from Royal Mail along with a copy of the signiture also it explained why it was a different tracking number.
Hope this helps, and i hope you get it sorted.Experian credit score as of Feb 2016 - 116

Thanks I have done this and they told me at Royal Mail that even if it was signed for as a bulk lot it would still show as received under my reference. A&L cant confirm its been received as they say my account is closed and is dealt with differently. May just do another copy and take it to my local branch for them to forward on in there internal mail.
This is my biggest claim £633 so something is bound to go wrong. :mad:0 -
That sounds like a good idea, just make sure that you get a signature for it, else it could accidently end up in there bin.
I am still waiting for the bank statements to come back to me only 11 days left and there 40 days are up.Experian credit score as of Feb 2016 - 116

Well i got the standard reply from A&L with still a week before they had to reply - so i guess that speeds things up a bit - I'm sending the next LBA (without prejudice version) today and we'll see what they say (i have a feeling it may be a 'no'!)
Hang in there if you're wwaiting for your statements - they will come and its very nice when they do (although it takes over your evening a bit and may annoy the other half!)A&L - 1st letter requesting money sent 22/03

Can anyone tell me how long after filling in the form online you get the Allocation Questionaire? Does it often happen that a cheque arrives on the doorstep from A&L before getting the form to fill in from the court?
Cheers for any help.Wins since 2009 = £17,600MANY THANKS TO ALL OPS0
