Hi MimiJane & nappy & others.
I have my court date set for 11th July. They need my court bundle 14 days before hand so that gives me about about 10 days to get it out.
So I'll be knuckling down over the next few days to hammer it out.
Wish me luck!
Steve
PS. MimiJane: Do you have a copy of your index you can let me have to get me started?? Many thanks
So you are ahead of me then, im 19th july, am just getting bits together myself, will be interesting to see how yours turns out,
I rang solictors yesterday and was surprised when my solictor dealing with my claim made me an offer on the phone, it was less than half i am claiming for so i politely turned her down,
Do keep me posted, thanks

personally i wouldn't accept it no. They have been offering rubbish first time settlements. They've offered me £484 for a £1400 claim, ive taken them to court and i'm not giving in.
It depends how badly you need the money and if you think that's good enough?
Is this your first offer from them? Have you commenced with MCOL?
You could always teel them you accpet it as a 'partial offer' and then carry on claiming the rest...it's always worth negotiating with them, you have nothing to loose.
If this is your first offer then i would always try for more.
Quidco to date = £1224 cashback

Its up to you what you decide to do, but most of us are refusing our first offers, but the choice is yours, hope this helps, and look on the main thread,

Hi ! We're in a similar situation - claiming £1259 ish and were offered £277.50 !!! I've sent them a letter giving them one last chance to offer sensible dosh, and said they've got till tomorrow to repy, then we're starting court proceedings. Personally I think we shouldnt give up - Ive had 6 years of pants service from this company, and i'm doing it out of principle now. Good luck - we've got nothing to lose by starting court proceedings, so go for it !!0

Nappy,
All copies were put in ring binders ... I delivered to the court and sent Recorded Delivery to Wragges.
You're best to include the whole of these Acts ... I doubt you'd find abbreviated versions and, even if you did, they may well miss out vital info., so play safe.
