    Hi mimi,
Just to let you know, thanks for your index, ive dowloaded lots of pieces from it, would you include the "unfair terms in consumer contracts regulations" and "unfair contract terms act 1977" and "the supply of goods and servicesact 1982", if so , knowing what the court has asked from me, are these very lengthy to download and also shall i include "terms and conditions" if so which ones, i know the court hasnt asked me for them, was just wondering should i,
    thanks,
    Nappy x

As they're in the "basic court bundle", I'd say yes, it's a good idea to include them (from memory, they're about 8 pages each?). Apparently the courts love paperwork, so you can never include too much!

Yes, include T&C's if you can as a guy recently lost 'cos he didn't have them in his bundle. I included the ones for the beginning of my claim and the ones for the end, i.e. 2 year's worth. There's a thread on here somewhere and also on the CAG forum.

They have sent nothing out, don't know if they where supposed to, When I was due in court 25th May they hadn't sent them out by 21st May, but since this has got relisted to 29th June theres time for them yet, I have mine away and thats all that matters I suppose, It says on the letter to be received no later than 10 days before the hearing

Doesn't it tell you in the judge's directions if they were supposed to send anything out by a certain date? If they were and they don't, chances are it'll be struck out in your favour, so it's vital you're aware and contact the judge straight away if you receive nothing from them.

    Hi,
This seems to be happening to all of us, yes, you get an offer for a tiny amount, on the same day you get letter from solictors to say that they are defending, this sems to be standard from both A&L and solictors,
Im due in court 19th july, i didnt realise that anyone was ahead of me, i was advised to ring the court out of courtesy and to say that i would be attendingand also to ask if i need to send them anything else or only what they have asked me for.
What has your letter asked you to submit to the court,
    Nappy

Not sure which letter ? I am going to give the court a call tomorrow to ask what i have to send and also to say they have sent a cheque for which i have sent back i do hope i will have something before the calling date ( 5/06/07 ) will keep you all posted in my progress as this site has helped me very much as i have been doing step by step with the templates on this site and all who have given advice:money: :money: :money:

Wish I had that good a memory! No need to include every year ... just those applicable to the year you started your claim and the last year. Found the CAG link, which is specifically for A&L T&C's :-

    http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/alliance-leicester/90733-l-terms-conditions.html

There is a T&C thread on this site, but it only gives you ideas on how to get hold of them and is not A&L specific. Perhaps worth taking a look if you can't locate yours on the CAG site :-

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=455383&page=3

It's also worth including the "charges and fees" for the years you're after. There are links to specific years on the CAG link above.

Hi MimiJane & nappy & others.

I have my court date set for 11th July. They need my court bundle 14 days before hand so that gives me about about 10 days to get it out.

So I'll be knuckling down over the next few days to hammer it out.

    Wish me luck!

    Steve

PS. MimiJane: Do you have a copy of your index you can let me have to get me started?? Many thanks
