    Hi,

As well as current account and credit card charges, can you claim for any charges on a mortgage account???

    Ta!

    Hi,
Yes you can claim from mortgage companies for such charges as late payment fee, missed payment fee, etc. I have just sucessfully claimed from Birmingham Midshires, was very easy, they put up no excuses or fight. Write off asking for a list of charges applied to your account same as you would for the banks & enclose the £10.00 cheque. Good Luck. SUFC.

Hi all can anyone help me please?

I have claimed back my bank charges and have now started on my credit cards - I am about to send out the letter stating that I am not happy that they won't give me a refund.
My question is though - can I claim charges from a mortgage account?. The mortgage was with NatWest and they have told me that the charges aren't applicable to a mortgage account - is this true?

  • i managed to claim £27.50 charge on my mortgage for bouncing a direct debit - even tho i d notified them i d paid by standing order - when it happened they sent me a letter saying it was a none refundable charge and that it was for costs incurred - so i sent them the first template and i got it refunded first time i asked! result! all you can do is ask - only costs the price of a stamp xxx

    Hi There,
Firstly I would just like to thank everyone on this site for such fgreat advice, I am currently trying to claim back £3800 from HSBC.
I was wondering if you can claim back admin charges from Mortgage companies. We are currently in the process of switching mortgages and looking at past statements I think I have had quite a few admin charges of £30 each. Can these be claimed back like you can with the banks and catalogues?
    Thanx for your time.
