Can anyone help me.
Can you claim for charges on a loan for non-payment etc, also on Mortgages, even if you still dont have them and have been paid off.
I got into trouble with a loan a couple of years ago and didnt pay anything back to them for a couple of months and they kept adding charges on etc for various things like having to write to me, non payment, interest etc. Although i have since paid this debt off, can i still claim. The same goes for a mortgage that i had on another property.
I dont have any statements as i binned them all when i paid them all off, however i do still have original paperwork so i can contact them etc.
All help would be gratefully appreciated.
Thanks

Does anyone know if you can claim from Loans that have since been paid off. Also if you can claim from mortgages that have since been paid off. If so, does anyone have G E Money's address to send the initial letter to. Thanks Hannah:rotfl:

Just because another company is charging the same unlawful amount of charges doesn't make it lawful.
but can i claim agaist a mortgage company for non DD charges & Late payment charges and could they try reposesing my house over it because it my current mortgage company. and i have been looking on here and i cant see anyone claiming agaist a mortgage company and they do not seem not 1 bit scared where all the other companies have backed down0 -
If it helps i have every intention of claiming off my previous mortgage company (Birmingham Midshires), in fact have sent letter RD today to them requesting statements.
I dont know if i would be doing it if i was still with them though!!! Thats a toughy!
Are you in a position to re-mortgage. If so, then perhaps you should go for it with your current provider and if things turn nasty you can re-mortgage then you still keep your house... does that make sense.
Good luck:rotfl:"Penny Pinching Winch"

not really in posion to re-mortgage that why i'm 50/50 about it someone told me they cant take te property back but they seem very confident they will win in court and they would send there solictors think i would have stood a better chance with a more well know mortgage comany because they prob would not have wanted any bad press but as its not a high street bank they prob will fight for there money0 -
also can anyone help this this matter got a car finance agreement with black horse and they said they can supply a statement of account but the charges are all added togher and just have a total amout of chages there is no dates or brack down so what do i do with that one and how do i add intrest to it.
also i am goin on holiday in 3 weeks time for 2 weeks so should i wait before issuing court proceeding again home retail group (agros card) and abbey as it has been 7 days today since i sent they there last letter.0 -
Coincidence!!! My mum works for Blackhorse and i had a HP agreement with them about 3 years ago. They CAN give you a breakdown as it is all on computer system. I just spoke with my mum and she said that the person who said this is either being lazy or they have been told to say this as they want to make it difficult for you to claim.... Apparently they have been inundated with claims recently - - - - i wonder why????
Mum suggests you try again, but this time write to them and cc to as many head offices etc. I can get you a list if you want, but it wont be until Monday when mum goes back to work.:rotfl:"Penny Pinching Winch"
