Morning all...only just but honest have been up for hours. Washing done, kitchen cleared, and am now nursing sore feet and hangover. DDs 21st party went with a swing! Very emotional night, seeing her all glammed up, and making a very touching speech. There are a few photos of her and the cake on my facebook if you have added me! Off for more coffee now, and maybe a gallon of Irn Bru!;)

    Hey peeps :D

Had busy morning, took cat to vets so she's now stitch free :D then walked to Mr S and local retail park for some kids birthday pressies so no way a NSD for me :(
Put the vac round, H has hung one load of washing out (first one of the year :o) and put a second one on. I've got him well trained ;)
Not sure what's for tea tonight, kids will be stuffed with carp from birthday party this afternoon so might see if H wants a chicken curry. Have a bag of value curry sauce in freezer so could bung in some chicken etc and have that.

Nothing else to report, how very dull :rotfl:

Hugs, spoons and high fives all round. Have a good day OS or not.

CH27 - welcome and well done on the pizza bases :T

    MaLarkin - Welcome :D

NPM - I hear you re the cat. Mine tries to smother me anytime from 3am onwards. Got and fed her at 3am this morning  Hope Noah enjoys his swim. :( to his dad not taking him. Tool.

Halight - According to BBC it's just heavy rain for my way on Monday. You crack me up with your comments :rotfl::rotfl:

Well done to Mr Dazi on his new job :D

Sorry if I've missed anyone :o

  • Afternoon all,

First week at work finished :j and now I don't know what to do with myself :o

Am off back to bed in a min as I feel awful - tired and teary. I really miss the OH at the moment. I spoke to him for 2 minutes last night as he was on a satellite phone and it costs loads. It was the first time I've spoken to him in a week and he sounded really uptight as they are in dangerous waters now and are on constant watch. Hopefully they'll be in port soon, but he thinks he'll be away for another 3 weeks :(

I do know that I'm lucky in that he's not away with the army on deployment, and that there are other partners in much worse positions. I used to be able to deal with the absences really well, and I thought it would get better as I started work, but I seem to be able to cope less well as time goes on.

So the rest of the day holds snoozing, a general tidy up, a short dog walk, then dinner (not decided on yet) and a DVD with popcorn and chocolate :D. The dogs had a good run this morning so they're spark out at present and won't need much else for the rest of the day.

Hopefully I'll feel brighter when I wake up.

    Have a good afternoon all.

    T xx

Good Afternoon Everyone - bit late coming here today, although I was up early enough!
Cranky -can't believe your MIL! I adore my DGD and wish I could see her more often - now she's at school ahe comes to us for each half-term holiday and part of each main holiday too - and how she changes in just six weeks! I'm already excited to think she'll be here next w/e.
Have taken all the bottles to the bottle bank today, plus done a full week's menu plan and the corresponding shop. Also put diesel in the car - but I don't want to think too much about that!
Made HM mulligatawny soup today, but it's rather thinner than I like. Stir fry tonight.
Want to watch the rugby shortly, but also need to finish the marmalade which I finally began yesterday - just needs sugar adding and boiling now.
Hope you are all having good Saturdays. Take care.
