Evening Everybody & welcome to the newcomers.
Home made fish n chips a la "the takeaway secret" tonight, very nice too. I think that's the first time I've ever cooked fish in batter from scratch :o DP & I were meant to be having our Valentines night tonight but the ex didn't pick up our son for his weekend  ah well his loss, this means he will have him next weekend & we will have him for his birthday weekend:T which reminds me, does anyone know where I can buy duck at a reasonable price? DS was born on pancake day (1995) so we always have pancakes on his birthday & this year he would like crispy duck with all the trimmings:eek: Have also just realised that this year Shrove Tuesday is the 8th March, which is DP's birthday so will need to look for another special pancake recipe. All suggestions welcome.
OS wise hmm dinner cooked from scratch, wm x 2 although weather is carp, not much else as had drops in my eyes at the hospital today & couldn't see much after that for a couple of hours;)
Right DS is off with his mates for a couple of hours so I am going to declutter a bottle of wine with DP:cool:
Halight you crack me up :rotfl::rotfl:
    Hugs, spoons & hi5's all round x

Jaxx I was in Aldi today and saw Ducks in their freezer, no idea of the price but I would imagine they'll be quite reasonable in there.

Ok duck is not cheep at all:eek::eek: but very nice!!!!

I feel that you maybe better trying to buy froson duck. It is a bit cheeper than fresh..
Keep a lookout for when its been marked down to get is sold.
A whole duck which will cost just under £10 tesco, asda price. wil work out cheeper than buying the duck legs or brest. which for two will cost about £4-£5.
Your raelly going to hav eto keep your eye out to get the deal/ cheepest deal.

    Good luck
