if phone records were kept for those non answerers that dont answer until an item megadrops and then they answer when it does if they get forced to buy all previous confirmed items it should stop them wasting calls
I've got some advice......there is more to life than shopping channels!!!!
I really can't believe what I've read here. They're just protecting themselves from repeat web buyers with their fingers hovering over the mouse button waiting for an item to go for £1. The op with this gripe appears to be one of them!0 -
phone buyers are hoverevers as well, it still takes time to confirm a web bid it is not instant and tehy still only show wehn the tv shows many people dont buy just becasue there are no tv graphics again a problem the comapany can resolve not the buyers as siad more products go to new buyers than web buyers when good quality it is not just a case of like it or lump it i like shopng with them and housebound. new buyers cannot post links but sometimees you see products go before making to tv wehn teh web is locked out this is due to the phone system going over quick enough to register those who miss out on the previuos product they think they can still buy it why do phone buyers have the right to complain and not the web? againd i avhe said i buy all of my items from them online with no alternative0

The phone buyers they said get cut off after 20 seconds if they don't buy, whats the point of phoning over and over again, sometimes they were almost giving 10 minute sales pitches, they'd have to ring 30 times at £1.53 a time! Only fools would hover on the phone as you'd never know when the actual auction was going to start. So no, I don't buy the phone hovering argument, no-one in their right mind would do it.
I've watched this in the last hour. The channels simply say bid/pricedrop.tv live on air on the tv screen. I've seen items go for £1. At no point did the presenters suggest buyers to goto the site for the £1 items to save the cost of the call so I don't see your problem. In actual fact they were very clear when bidding methods were locked, stating this was to give the fairest chance possible for people to buy.0 -
okay i avhe had enough i avhe said my views and constantly been degraded apart from the few i thank i have not said the presenters say go online to ssave the cost of the call although if you aree with the comapny then check your records and i promise you they have not in the last hour they air 365days a year! there has bene no £1 item in the last 2h 30 min on price drop tbh but will u deny do u need my pvr record? you will reglary see the graphics flash change www.bid.tv to bid.tv and pricedroptv to www.price-drop.tv and speedauction tv www.speedauction.tv the given websites

again they cut of hoverers if you like a product and want it they claim you need 20 seconds on teh line of which mine is 1 minute yuo have to listen to the message let it proccess in your brain and then convert that all back toghteher as said disasbled people do not all make things up i invite you to my disabled grouopd to explain to tehm what has changed etc0 -

bidtv are not scheduled megadrops atm that i know the item sold for £1 as people dont want it and everyday products they sometimes sell for £1 and they someitmes do a non stop drop werre the item is crap and can continue to £1 if noone buys it my fault for not ssaying pricedro sorry although i will add true megadrops no longer make it to pages such as being unscheduled there is no previous web record to stop people saying oi i bid so and so that did need sorting though all pre bids on a megadrop need kicking out as items went before making to air but now they are not shown theres no advantega above the phone i just feel you should be able to buy online wehn it is live on air as you may want teh item regardless of price it has happened i hvae wanted a product but could not buy it as nopt online0 -

.
With respect, their job is to get people to call in. The three people who buy it at £220 may not be as tangible as all that. They may be three producers of the show, for instance, or their friends who know the item will go for a quid. Or completely made up in order to create a sensation of urgency to make you race for that phone. It's not real, it's only TV!!0 -

full respect given tahnkyou
i feel they maybe the presenters/execs due to the nature eg constant same buyer, name, area, new buyer before even live on air/web that how i feel they maybe company buyer as obvious they know waht they will sell for £1 illegal but hard to prove unless they p off/sack a worker who reports them
i have to doubt it though as they know they cant do it and would get them into serious trouble almost definate instant close or complete management wipeout coupling with the odd few meagdrops i have won then i vouch they certainley give some good products away for £1 so i ahve to think it also could be just the odd greedy buyers i mean will*am from perth and then w from perth on the same item of around 10 quantity and another 2 perth buyers on a quantity of 10 with net locked i hav to wonder it is the odd greedy few that got the whole lot of us punished0 -
After reading the last lot of posts..... walks away shaking his head.
OP: I wish you all the best, but you are on a road to nowhere..“That old law about 'an eye for an eye' leaves everybody blind. The time is always right to do the right thing.”0
