Ive got the basic tesco clubcard credit card 3 months ago. Ive found it great for giving some extra points. 1 point for every £4 spend-however a friend was telling me how his platinum gives 1 point on every £2. Im yet to see any major disadvantage for me as I use it for day to day spending and pay off in full monthly.
My real question is, how do I get the upgrade to a platinum? Must I be a regular and worthy customer for e.g. 12 months? Or is there any minimum amount I need to spend monthly etc??

Tesco only do the Clubcard Credit Card (518652). There is NO upgrade to the platinum cards if you have a Clubcard.

Got mine yesterday.

A little different this year in that you give it in at the checkout rather than having going to customer services to add them on.

Sorry to bother you all again. After scanning your coupon, Please can you let me know if your 650 points for having the mastercard been added to your total yet? I just got a line on the receipt where it mentioned 650 points coupon as if I had purchased that item but they didn't appear at the bottom of the receipt in the points this visit ? I was expecting the 650 voucher in my May 2014 statement, but it didn't come. Has anyone else received their points??

I've received mine this week, same as before, coupon to take to store which I haven't done yet. Fortunately there is now a tesco local by Lidl so I will make an annual visit to it when I make my weekly trip to Lidl.
