Am ok, ta.. Am pestering the recruitement agencies to find me a new job asap.. I have an interview in Crewe tomorrow.. I don't really fancy it but I have got to take anything so I can keep on paying the bills.. The commute would be horrendous, but I have not got much choice..
We have a viewing on our house on Saturday.. The potential buyer has already sold their house so at least there's something positive there..

Football wise, well what can i say.. Only a miracle would do..

Hope you enjoy the footie tonight after work..

    Cheers

Well I hope you get the job (although i hope even more the agencies can find something closer to home for you).

A viewing with somebody who has already sold! thats great news, in the current climate they should be looking to keep hold of their buyer so hopefully won't have a long long list of properties and shouldn't keep you waiting too long.

I keep on changing my mind as to if its Wengers fault or not... all in all it is pretty sad.

Yeah should enjoy it, turnout has been good of late and the weathers not so bleak.

  • Sold a couple more bits on Ebay up to about £150 now. Need to re-list the pram though but should get £150+ for that (£700 new), just since there is so much to it, it has to be collection only.

Only a few more days until payday and the next OP.

OH wants to go to Ikea soon... that is one shop i HATE. I don't think there is anything I enjoy about the experience, I don't like how the shop is layed out, I don't like how far away the shop is, I don't like the items themselves. Some are cheap tat and others way overpriced. Meh!

  • Yes I asked her a couple of times last week and the first time she said "a diamond ring" the second time she just pointed to her finger :rotfl:

    I don't dare ask a third time

Whoops! :D to be fair thats what I always used to say to DH - but just cos thats what she wants, doesn't mean you need to buy it for her!

What about some other sort of jewellery with a diamond in it - then at least you can say you have bought a diamond!

had a nice weekend and took the day off work yesterday and we went to a local kids theme park. Was a really nice day actually and the kids were well behaved too.

  • So i escaped Leap Year day without a proposal....phew :)

Not much has happend past couple of days, re-listing a few items that either didn't sell or didn't get paid for on ebay this weekend.

Oh a small bit of news was I bought the OH a scratch card for her birthday, Lucky Seven and we won £20 over six of the seven lines!

  • Afternoon all,

OH had a little shop yesterday at IKEA (Hate the place) whilst I looked after the LO's. She had her birthday pennies so only cost me £8.00 which I am happy with. However I did have to assemble all the furniture (luckily I am the flat pack King!).

MSE will take a hit this month as I have five passports to pay for and need to look at getting some foreign currency ready for our hols.

Also need a self propelled mower too, another year with that push along will have me in an early grave!

A few of the bits I have done this weekend though are:
    - Cut plenty of wood for the fire (still got lots left to cut)
    - Turned down the number of hours the heating automatically comes on for

  • Morning all.

So another £5 to the pot, somebody on ebay finally paid a week later!

Still need to re-list a few items but haven't had the time really to sit down and do it.

Things I MUST do this week/weekend
    - Collate all the loose change and pay it in
    - Re-list the remaining items onto ebay
    - resist the urge for fish n chips after football tonight
    - Update my energy usage program

  • Morning all,

OH told me last night we have a meal this weekend with some of the locals. Only picked an overpriced pretencious hotel restaurant haven't they! I went there a year or two ago and had the smallest chicken portion i've ever seen and I had to pay extra for sides. Looking forward to £70 before even buying drinks.....

On football news I was on the edge of my seat last night. Shame Arsenal couldn't find that 4th goal, but what a game!
