Hi MCI,
Yeah I hope I find some soon to, although I only have two days left of driving my car this week. Got to take OH car again for MOT (although small disaster we can't find the ta disc which came through the other day. Must be in that really safe spot where all important things go.
Been lucky with ebaying so far, not had anything that hasn't sold. Had a couple of buyers who didn't pay but a quick relist and they went to nice new homes.

Afternoon all,
Well I have football agian tonight and it is chucking it down. So should make for an entertaining game and a welcome shower afterwards.
Found the tax disc in the end after about 2 hours of looking. I don't know what I would have done if I couldn't find it. Certianly teaches me to do things straight away rather than putting them off.

I once drove around with my 'new' tax disc in the glove box of my car for several months. I shoved it in there, and then just forgot about it. I was working at a university at the time, and one day one of the car park guys rang my office and said ' Dr W, do you know your tax disc expired last October'
For a short while, I couldn't imagine what I had done with it. I remembered having bought one prior to the old one running out - then found it in the glove compartment. He must have thought I was completely nuts!0 -

haha now that is a good story! So many of these task you do (or at least I do) on auto-pilot and when I try to think back about what I did I just assume I have done them fully.
Leaving work early on Thursday for a weekend trip to the in-laws and then leaving the LO's there for the week. Picking up the gate posts whilst I am there and then I have to pull my finger out and source some gates.
Don't plan on using my car again until next week so fingers crossed fuel is back at my local garage (I say local its 10 miles away).

Morning all.
Well i got home last night to an excited OH. She had had a "brilliant idea", now take into consideration every "idea" of hers costs money (not an MSE mindset unfortuantely). This latest idea involves converting our garage, knocking down walls to create a huge kitchen/dinner/lounge area. I sometimes despair with her ambitions and craving to spend big bucks.
I'll do my usual and humour her for a short while before putting an end to it.
Small MSE signed up for some free toothpaste samples. It all helps after all!
OH is apparently going to do a carboot on Monday (she wants to earn to put towards this garage.....)

So dropped the LO's off at the grandparents, so have had a bit of spare time. Got plenty of outside jbes done today and counted the loose change. £49 to add to the kitty.
The main job i've done was dig the holes for the gate posts. Just need to put the posts in and wait for the concrete to set before I measure up for the gates.

Morning all,
Not a huge amount to update on, things have been rather buy at work so not had chance to really get much sorted.
I have however cashed in most of the loose change, I have also dug out the gate post holes and cemented in the posts. Just have to wait until the weekend and I will measure the distance for the gates to be made (that should be 2-3 week delivery).
Had one of our passports back just waiting on the others, starting to get a little close to our holiday so they better hurry up! OH should be sorted out travel insurance today especially for DD2 which will bump the cost up.

Yeah it sure does add up.
So over the weekend we did a bit of shopping to smarten up the outside of the house. That aside spending hasn't been too bad although the gate posts are now set and I just have to decide to either buy the gates or do i get the wood and make them myself?
Decisions decisions.
Had the kids passport applications back seems I missed the birth cert out....doh. Hopefully all be back in time for our hols.
