  • Morning all,

Had a small Quidco payment of £18.00. It all helps right

Drove steadily to and from work again, took me an extra five minutes on my journey but we will soon see if it saves me much money.

OH has volunteered me to errect some kids pay equipment this weekend for the school. Great.

Bring on the final few days until payday!

  • So the budget has come out, not sure yet fully how it will affect me but the increase in wage before income tax will be handy.

Had to pay £140 today for front brake discs and got an MOT due next week so my OP is looking less and less for this month sadly :(

Chin up about the OP, I'm sure it will be made up later on.

Pesky cars, they sure know how to throw a spanner in the works.

  • Morning all,

had a busy weekend, its been decided we are going to fence te side of the house and gate the front so the kids can't get onto the road or into the stream by our house. Sad thing is its 150ft fence so im looking at £1,000 for it all. So there goes my OP for this month :(

  • Evening all,

With the overall cost of the fence and bush removal looking cloer to the 2 - 2.5k mark I am having a re-think. Might just go for a smart gate and patch up the exisiting hedge. I just can't justify spending that much right now.

So the fuel crisis has hit, both cars are just under 1/4 tank. Going to hang on and wait for people to return to their senses.

  • Had a couple more ebay sales to add a few extra quid to the kitty.

Been looking for gates but finding it harder than I expected to find local suppliers.

the kids are staying at their grandparents over Easter so should get chance to ebay the rest of the larger items (pram, wii and a whole myriad of other items).
Should get a few hundred for it all.

  • well that was a quick and easy way to spend £100. The OH tells me her fuel light had come on, three garages later I find one that has some fuel left to sell.

What a carry on. Worse thing is my car is on less than 1/4 tank now :s

  • Morning all,

Have been feeling quite motivated the past couple of days so heres my target list to have done by this thursday (off to the in-laws over easter so won't get anything done this weekend).

    - Count up all the loose change (must be about £20-£30 worth of 5/10p)
    - Ebay items must have 20ish items still to sell
    - Transfer paypal funds to bank

Taken the OH car to work today rather than risk taking mine with the fuel light on. If only there was a website where it told you who had fuel left in the pumps rather than risk a 10 mile drive to find its empty.
