Morning all,
Payments from ebay are flooding in, just got to post the remaining few out.
Have put up a couple of new ebay items which have plenty of watchers so its looking good, furthermore OH is sorting the study which is full of her Jme@home which she no longer needs. So should have some more to put on this weekend.
Speaking on this weekend its DD2 1st birthday, time really has flown by and so far so good with her. Her progression is on par with what is expected and we have another consulation start of March at QMC.
Snow has almost all melted away now but our three snowmen are still standing tall! But the cold weather has seriously depleted our oil stores, I am hoping to last out until summer with whats left so I can get it at (fingers crossed) a cheaper price.

Morning all,
Not a fan of valentines day it always adds to the pressure from OH and MIL to propose. Even worse this year with the leap year.
On MSE matters the last £1500 for the holiday is due start of March so there goes my Feb OP. Still first holiday abroad for five years I guess I shouldn't complain too much. Still if I squeeze the piggy bank enough I might be able to manager £500.
There are a few slow payers on ebay. If they were keen enough to bid last minute to win you would think they would have paid within the first day or two.

How long have you and OH been together? (If you don't mind me asking)?
Took DH 13 years to propose and then another 2 before we got married!!! I was quite patient - didn't actually mention the whole marriage thing, just a hint now and then about a diamond!
I'd try and ignore the pressure and make your decision when you want to.
Bet you are looking forward to that holiday? When are you off?

Been together ohh 5 or 6 years I guess. She just moved herself and all her bits in one day and has stayed ever since :rotfl:
13 years? wow that is patient. I might go for the get engaged but make her wait years to get married plan.
We are off on hols summer, I think its June. But in all honestly I am terrible with dates, I still forget my mothers birthday and i've had 28 years of practice to remember it!
Bit of a busy weekend coming up, DD2 birthday party on Sunday and also got a mate coming to look at the trees and hedges that need trimming. Also got the three kids to look after on Saturday whilst the OH does the cleaning. Might go to the Deep or something similar.

Sounds like a plan LP.
Hope the birthday party went well and the rest of your weekend.

DD2 had her 1st birthday, had quite a few of the family round and all in all the kids were very well behaved.
Its the OH's birthday next weekend and i will have the MIL, FIL and her auntie staying over. Luckily I get on very well with them! :T
On the MSE front i've just put £160 into the bank and other than having to fill up on petrol yesterday (£70) and a quick Mr T shop (thanks for the vouchers!) the spend this weekend has been slim.
Just another week and it will be payday so I can make the next OP.
A few costs I think I will have coming up soon though are:
- Oil tank is about 1/3 - 1/4 full so will need to get some more sooner or later
- My front tyre has a slow puncture and i am starting to get fed up of pumping it up on a weekly basis.

Morning all,
Football tonight and on the way back I am going to have to stop off at Mr T to get the OH a birthday card. Any ideas on gifts for a 26year old who has everything?

Good question....
Have you thought of asking her what she wants?
(I'm a great help arn't I!) Could be better than buying an unwanted pressie?

MCI
Yes I asked her a couple of times last week and the first time she said "a diamond ring" the second time she just pointed to her finger :rotfl:
I don't dare ask a third time
