I normally leave the littl bit of ebaying we do to the OH, but i've done it this time for the first time so its all new to me. Plus it turned out to be free listing so that was a nice suprise :)

Yes I remember my OH saying she sold 26 next/River Island tops for £6.00 on ebay and they said only half were any good. For £6 what do you expect plus to be honest my OH has that many tops half of them had hardly even been worn!

    Nowt as queer as folk!

  • Morning all.

Our three snowmen were still standing tall when I left for work :T

Had quite a bit of interest in the ebay items, already sold on activity center for £35 and still got eleven or so items with 6days left. Fingers crossed they all go.

    Hope all are well.

Yes very annoying, my most recent one is a lady who bought kids clothes 10 tops, 4 pairs of jeans, 6 pairs of shorts, all from next for £22, e-mailed me saying she was disappointed they werent new!? they were listed as used and a few of the jeans were scuffed on the hem which i also mentioned, she wanted the whole amount refunding plus £5 to cover her petrol as she had to collect them from the depot... the cheek, when i refused she left negative feedback, which thankfully ebay removed when i complained!

Thats ridiculous! Asking for £5 for petrol haha, I can see what you mean.

Hopefully I won't have any such issues, only seeling a few garage bits and bobs. Couple of spare prams (one still to list), activity centre etc.

I think given what you said and the one negative we had before I will leave the clothes to a summer car boot. Pick a nice day and get a tan, break from the kids and some cash. Whats better :rotfl:

  • Well the bidding war has begun fror the pram. 23 watchers so hopefully a few should do some last minute bidding.

I have a feeling this month is going to be a bad one for MSE. My 28th birthday, HO 26th, DD2 1st birthday, coupled with a few bills i wasn't expecting.

  • Well it was too cold last night so football was called off so I suppose thats a few pennies saved from not having the game or pint afterwards.

Plus I would have resisted the fish & chips on the drive home too im sure of it!

I see good old Harry Rednapp has managed to do some effective tax avoidance. I think I need to hire his accountant

  • Ebay sales part 1 - Well most the items sold and depending on how many want to collect/post it stands at £135 so far minimum.

Got some other items to put on for a week so hopefully some more coming in soon.
