    We are trying to use Moneyclaim to get our money back from Lloyds TSB. We have been given an address of 71 Lombard Street, London, EC 3BS as the defendent. When we input this address the site will not recognise this as a valid address.
    Does anyone else have an address we could use instead please.

  • I sent my 1st letter requesting statements for the last 6 years a long with a £10 cheque of to lloyds a few weeks ago, and they sent me a letter saying how sorry they are to hear about my complaint! They still haven't cashed the cheque either. I have tried to ring, the Andover phone number several times, even at 7am and it is all ways engaged. Has anyone else had this happen to them & did you ever get your statements?. I did go in to my Lloyds bank today and they told me to send the letter again to the Andover address, I asked them for another phone number that I could get through on but they say they didn't have one! :confused::A
    Back on MSE again! to take control of my finances and not let it control me. :T May grocery challenge £41.96/140

    hi, sent claim letter yesterday for charges of £1507, not included interest. can i claim interest at a later date, ie if i have to prepare to go to court?

    any advice would be appreciated and compliments on a brilliant site.

    That is fine as the bank is only obliged to pay the interest at the court stage.
  • I am currently at the 6 years of statements part of my claim and have written to lloydstsb asking for them, i recieved a letter today saying this:

    Following your request for copies of statements on your account to enable you to reconcile your bank charges i have today ordered your statements going back to the date you opened your account or september the 1st 2001 whichever date was the earliest.
    These will be sent to you in the next 5 days,

    ~~~ NOW THE GOOD BIT~~
    You may now wish to proceed with your claim for reimbursement of charges, but, if you do feel you need further statements this will take longer to access our archived data. please let me know ~@~ blah blah blah
    The best part of this is i did not tell them why i wanted the statements i just wrote to them in my own words asking for them,. and they have assumed that is what i want them for, surely by assuming this its almost an admission?? also did anyone else see the watchdog program with the financial obusman on it, i called them and they said they can get your money back without going through the courts and it will be allot quicker?? now i am in two minds what to do, do i go ahead with the moneyclaim etc etc or do i let the obusman go for it on my behalf?? also does this letter change the way i should go about this because it does tend to make you think you can ask for the money back and lloydstsb will just give it to me???? any help would be great, and thanks everyone for the useful info on here, just trying to add my bit !!! cheers
    ALSO i forgot to mention, i have lloydstsb online banking and i dont know if anyone else realises this but if you go into your online account you can search your statements 3 months at a time all the way back to july 2002. you can actually specificaly search for charges aswell, this saved me so much time, all i need from lloydstsb now is from feb2001 to july 2002 so if you only had an account from july 2002 on there is no need to get the statements sent to you.. hope this info helps as it made my day when i stumbled on the search facility on the account.. cheers
  • after reading through the threads it seems lloyds are trying to delay us at every stage. when you ask for your statements they say they are sorry to hear your complaint..repeatedly... once youve recieved statements and asked for reimbursement they say no, you have breached terms and conditions...when you send them court documents they say they will enter a defence, but then they dont and pay up the day before court. it seems that you do get your money from them eventually but they delay every step of the way. probably waiting to see decision from financial ombudsman, or just hoping we'll get put off if they don't even acknowledge us. :mad:
    Wrong place but I'll shift it :)
    This is actually standard from Lloyds at the moment and I'll shift your post into the Lloyds thread where you'll find other users receiving the same offer.
