Going to court can seem daunting but you are well within your rights to do so.

They are being unlawful by charging what they do.... so just remember that you're only getting your money back in a legal way!

    Good luck :)
  • Well the 7 days are up and I need to get started on the claim. Although they rang me 3-4 times a day for the whole 7 days ( ) I never received a written response.
One thing that has confused me, I had been notified of charges to come out today (£300 in total) but, despite the fact they normally take out their money before anything else goes out I'm still sat with £300 in my bank and not sure what to do with it!! Do I leave there just in case, if so for how long? Or do I presume that because of the letters sent that they are not going to take the money and I can use it elsewhere...some of it to pay for the claim against them!!!

    Anyone else had this before?
  • Hi
dont be fooled about the money still being there in your bank knowing lloyds tsb they will take it:mad: i bet if you look in your account now online they will have already got it!! ive just checked my account now and they have took £125 in charges off me and now im overdrawn again! so no doubt i will get charged for that too:mad:

  • Sorry if this is the wrong thread to ask.

Any one know where to send the 1st Letter .

I have had the account closed for 3 years and not sure where to send the
    1st letter to.

Is it local branch or London where Lloyds have the HQ.

    Sorry to ask.

  • Once the 7 days is up and if you haven't heard fom them, then yes you go on to the next step.

Just filled in my claim at MCOL website - any idea how long it can take from there - or does it depend on the court ?
