My brother-in-law has just had news back from Lloyds that they are now willing to pay up IN FULL INCLUDING INTEREST (I don't have the exact amount, but I know it was over £3k).
This has given me hope - I hope it does the same for all of you!0 -

The easiest way, is to either go into the branch or phone the bank and ask them politely to waive/refund the charge on this occassion.
If this doesn't work, you may need to get a bit heavier with them and write a letter.
If you wish, after you have followed the process, and if they still don't play ball, you can file a court claim and force them to refund the charge.
However, as it's a relatively small amount, it's likely they will pay up much sooner.
the same thing has happened to me. I have rang them and they are still going to charge me. so I have now sent off the 1st letter and are waiting for a reply. They are supposed to take the money out this thursday. I will wait to see what happens. Get the ball rolling and ring up politly complain and see what happens.
you would think with all these claims going they would drop the charges as soon as the customer complains.HOW MUCH ?0 -

. Can someone advice me. Thank you. :T

hi
im trying to claim a small amount of about £200 from Lloyds TSB
mainly on general principal, but i hear that Lloyds often go all the way to court and whether it would really be worth it.
I heard from a friend that if you are missing some bank statements you can make a prediction of the charges for the last six years and claim even
more money back....is this true0 -
If you end up taking any bank to court what you are claiming for must be accurate or your case will be thrown out of court.

1. She has two account with them do we send twenty pounds for statements? Or include both accounts in one letter and just send ten.
2. She had a loan with them too which not sure payments are upto date and she doesnt want them asking for it back? She does have an agreement with regards to the payments on the loan.
Any help will be gratefull thanks0 -
