Princees kez, took them about three weeks after judgement issued to send the cheque. Also received full offer yesterday on my other Lloyds case and i was just waiting for a court date!! Good luck with getting your money soon, we have been at similar stages all the way through this fiasco!

Well done with your win. But itjust goes to show what a lotterty this is. We won judgement by default also on our accounts on 30/05/07 (of which two are closed and one is a business account), and we received no settlement and SC&M have paid £65 to the courts to requestmthe judgement set aside. So you are very lucky. Our fight appears now to go right back to the beginning - whereby they have requested the claim be reserved on them. It's thoroughly depressing, as we've now had to take out a loan with a finance company to help us out as we can't depend on Lloyds paying up. We are contesting the request to set the judgement aside - but I guess they'll have their way and win that - just to further abuse the court process and assert power over us little people.
It certainly does make you feel like giving up.

I dont wish to sound pessimistic and it could also happen to me, but a friend tells me (solicitor), the defendand can at anytime have a claim set aside if they dispute the amount, more often than not now the defendants are playing with the fact that they are inundated with claims and have not had sufficient time to view claims, thus the courts are awarding defendants this extra time, sh**e I know, but such is life....

Hi have recieved transfer of proceedings from Northampton to local court - Gloucester and now awaiting direction.

I was wondering if anyone else has been through this court and any advice would be gratefully appreciated.

Thanks to all for your encouraging posts.

    Hi Kazda

I have just had my case transferred to this court. I have a general form of judgement last Monday. It stated that the Judge needed further information in the form of a list of charges detailed with date, amount and reason. I have now sent this off and await my court date. Maybe we'll be there the same day???

Don't suppose anyone has the number to SCAM to hand - I have lost it!!:o :o:o
