Thanks for that.
How do i go about the court proceedings. I really have no idea about how to deal with it. Would the F/O be a better option?0 -

If you go to the main site there is a section on it which explains all and there's a template of what to put in Moneyclaim.
The Moneyclaim site is https://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk
As for Moneyclaim or FOS, from what i've read it's really up to you and your circimstances...If you go Moneyclaim there is a fee to pay and you get the chance to ask for interest, if you go FOS it's free, you can't ask for interest but you don't have the stress of court.0 -

we received an instruction from the court that we were to try to come to an arrangement with SCAM to settle before 17th August. We wrote to SCAM to say that although we were claiming £4,603, we would be willing to.....
That sound good to me Jo, I think I will try this one before my court date (4th October).
Good luck...0 -

I got a letter offering me £750 and they will cancel my complaint and credit my account in 10 working days but then they say if i am not happy with this to go to Financial Ombudsman Service so they can investigate i have to do this with in six month from the day they credit my account.
i want to know if they put the money in can i still go to court and claim the rest as my charges which add up to £3004 or do i just send them a letter saying i'm just going to take you to court because that's not even half of what i asked for.
PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME PLEASE
thank you

A couple of days later I got a letter stating although they were not admitting liability they were offering me £750 in full and final settlement and if I am not happy with this, I was offered the FO.
My original claim is for £2300, I am not happy with this and need advice as to what to do next?
Please help.
I would write them a letter saying you will accept the offer as part settlement without predjudice and i will be claiming the remainder in court or the FO
Hope this helps
Good luck0
