  • Hi all,

I have done all of Martin steps and threatened to take it to court and I have still had no reply from Lloyds TSB

Am i right in thinking I now have to file my claim? or is there another letter I need to send?

I will be grateful for any help.

Yes, you need to start your claim via the courts.

Yes, just to reiterate - you need to now.

I got a reply to my second letter AFTER they decided to defend the claim!
  • Ive just started to reclaim my bank charges and sent my first letter today. (Its the one where you request your "entire account history" and can therefore total all the charges + interest taken from you)

I estimate that Lloyds TSB have charged me over £1000 in the last 5-6 years in bank charges. The majority of these charges where incurred when I had a graduate account. That account has now changed to a current account.

I have used the templates provided at:

    http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/bankcharges

Any advice, experience or suggestions would be much appreciated.

I'll let you know how I get on.

    Kind Regards

Plenty of people claiming from Lloyds in this thread as you can see. Have a read of Martin's article and you'll find template letters linked in there and read the Reclaim Help Thread which is linked in my signature.

After 3 letters to Lloyds and then 2 emails via online banking - received an email on Friday 22nd informing me that case had been forwarded to Andover and that a reply in the post, if not already with me would be very soon .... is this another fob off? Where would I get the phone number for Andover?
  • Hi Everyone

Just giving you an update on my claim against Lloyds and seeking some answers to some questions i have.

As expected and as everyone mentioned before Lloyds have filled defence on the last day. I phoned mcol to find find out what the next step and stage would be and been told that it would be directed to my local court (small claims) and that i will recieve a letter from them.

I guess i will have to start preparing my court bundle now lol.

    Here my questions:

    1. Do i have to have a copy of the terms and conditions for my court bundle? If yes i do not have these anymore as we do not bank with lloyds anymore. So if needed where would i obtain these.

    2. Has anyone who hasnt got their account with lloyds anymore won their claim or recieved settlement before court??

    3. Is there anything else i need to do as am getting bit worried now if it does go to court wouldnt know hat to say lol. Also i read that alot of People mentioned to contact scam/scum prioir to court. Should i do so and if yes what do i say?

Also i would like to add a big thank you to everyone posting on this site as it is interesting to see how other people are getting on and progressing and also giving tips to others that still have to go the journey they have already done!!!!!!!!!!!:T

You should receive them within 40 days but is quicker to sign up for internet banking and then print out your own statements, however you can't go all the way back I think its only 5.5 years.

Saying it should be within 40 days isn't true with Lloyds TSB as they sent mine in 35 days but it has taken my brother 115 days, he is complaining to the Financial Onbudsmen but nothing yet.

Good luck if you need any help send me private message and I will try to help. My claim is now waiting for the court date.
