Similar to my claim, they were served 9th May and presented defence on the 28th day after that. Case now transfered to local court, I have not to fill an AQ as yet but have to provide court with particularised bank charges also to defendant? (they already have this). This was an order from court.
It's all strange and confusing to the ordinary people.

I'm in the same position, in trying to recoup charges on behalf of my wife. We are just at the stage to go to the courts. I have tried using the online service at money claim online, but according to the website, the lloyds tsb customer services address isn't a uk address. Can anybody please help, by letting me know which address they used.
    My £2 savings total for 2007 = £92, for 2008 = £124
    My savings from money off coupons for 2007 = £67.97, for 2008 = £194.79
    My £2 savings for 2009 (so far) = £130
My savings from money off coupons for 2009 = £593.08

  • im in the middle of the court thing at mo, ive got a letter now says lloyds are defending the claim and they have a solicitor working for them. Not sure what to do now really do i need to go to court if they set a date?
i put the customer service address and it worked.
  • I've done a claim for a friend to Lloyds - it has gone as far as court and they are defending it. Presumably they are hoping that as they have had a ruling once in their favour that they'll get one again.... Anyone got any feedback since the courtcase, or do I just wait and see? If so, I'll keep you posted :-)

They have been doing standard £750 goodwill payments (presumably full payments for claims less than this) since their two lucky breaks in Birmingham. Most people were accepting them as without prejudice part payments and continuing their claims. The part payment could have made these claims uneconomic to defend.

The rulings were due to poor preparation, not any merit with their defence. The publicised one did have more than his fair share of bad luck on the day, the other one made a complete "pigs ear" of things.
The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life. :)

 I have got the bank statements, worked it out to be over £4500 lloyds bank owe my mum.Twice i have give them 2 wks to cough up or we will take them to court.Last week my parents had a nice long letter. The 2rd page just says if i wish to pay £10 to get the bank statements sent to me which i already have. the 1st page says the following:
thank you for getting in touch with us.I am sorry you are unhappy about your account charges.Like any business we do make a charge for some of our extra services.when customers dont have enough in their accounts to cover a payment, this always means extra work and it has to happen very quickly. we have to agree to make the payment by setting up or increasing an overdraft or tell customers we cant agree. we feel fair to charge for this service.of course it only fair too, that we're completely open about any charged for services before you might need them, thats why we take care to give every new customer the latest guide to our charges.you can also get up to date details about fees adn borrowing rates at all our branches thorough our helpline and on our website.just as importantly we do everything we can to help our customers avoid these charges.you can get a upto date balance at any of our cash machines over the phone, on line and by weekly text to your mobile.
This goes on for another half a page.

So do i go ahead and take lloyds bank to the small claims court?
as the 14 days is now up
    any one help?

    thanks:confused: julie

    Hi Julie
we've all had that letter!!! you think its written to you presonally until you see other people quoting the same words on this forum. Ignore it and move on to the next stage.

Hi, i have two cases with Lloyds TSB. Case 1 i entered judgement as they didn`t defend. I asked to be paid immediately. This was two weeks ago now and i have heard nothing. Does anyone know what a reasonable amount of time is to expect payment? Case 2, have just received copy of defence(usual waffle). I am aware i have to pay another £100 although the allocation questionaire is not required. Is this paid to the court now or when a court date comes through?
    Thanks in advance x

A mere  five months to the day after sending my first letter, Lloyds have credited my account 2 claims totalling £1017.
Was due in Court next week.
I hope this news gives you guys hope and shows it is worth sticking with it, when you feel you are going to be one of the unlucky ones.

Good luck everyone, and thanks for all the support,
