Hi, if you get as far as having a court date then you have to submit to the court and the banks solicitors a court bundle. This consists of copies of all the letters you have sent and received, copies of your statements and a charges list plus loads of other papers that you need as evidence. There are templates and downloads on the website and the CAG website if it goes that far.
SCAM is just a good acronym for Lloyds solicitors Sechiari Clark & Mitchell.
Good luck and I hope you don't have to go this far.0 -
Hi
Does anyone have the phone number for the Ombudsman.
I sent my first letter 9 wks ago and the only letter I have had in all that time was from my local branch after 3 wks when i offered to settle at a lower figure and they said I should have a decision by the end of May.
Since then nothing, not even a b****r off you're getting nowt letter.
I did get through to someone at the call centre in Andover today but got cut off and then couldn't get through again.
Just thought I'd try the non court route first
Thanks everyone for the great advice you've been posting.0 -

Have you ever thought about using this past connection to help everyone on here? Being one of those little people that Lloyds are stepping all over on a daily basis i know that i would really appricate any inside info you can provide!

Hi Guys
Have just won a court case against LLoyds TSB over Bank Charges. They failed to respond to an order issued against them after telling the court they would defend the case. Since winning the case LLoyds have failed to pay me back & have today issued a warrent of Execution.
Would love to see the look on their faces when the bailiffs turn up.

Hi All, My parents are trying to get there charges back from lloyds, they have writen the first letter Martin suggested, they have added up how much etc etc & asked llods for this back, Lloydfs have written to them stating that they are not unlawful charges & hope that they understand why they cant give back any money to my parents.
But we are worried as my parents are hugely overdawn with Lloyds & think taht this may have somethign to do with it? Anyway last night I did the 2nd letter Martin suggests, advising of court action, but i am worried that wasnt the right thing to do, do you think it was? Thansk in advance xx0 -

So does that mean they never turned up to court?? I am taken them to court at the moment and find the whole situation quite scary. They aknoledged my claim and now have 14 days to put in a defend0 -

This is the standard first response. These days, your chances of getting all your charges back in response to a strongly worded letter are as slim as a size zero model.
You did exactly the right thing by sending the second "Letter Before Action" letter.
