Hi Everyone
I am currently reclaiming my bank charges with LLoyds. Sent quite a few letters got no reply and took it now to MCOL they have acknoleged the clain and have no got another 14 days to enter a defence. I am getting a bit scared if i have to go to court as i have never been to court before also everybody is saying you got to prepare your case properly. How do i do that what do i need. This is all really scary to me.0 -

Everything you need to do is either in this thread (go back to the beginning) or register on www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk. All the templates and instructions are on there.
Yes you do need to be prepared to go to court and if you follow all the instructions given i.e. which letters to send when etc etc then you will be prepared.
I started last July and it finished last week. Thankfully :j . It is a long process without any shortcuts so read through everything and you will be fine. Good Luck.

Right ....... to those whos claims have been defended ........ The last line on my defence reads; The claimants claim is denied in its entirety. It is further denied that the claimant is entitled to the sum claimed or to any sum from the bank.
I've just read someone elses and it only says it's denied in its entirety, does anyone elses say what mine does ?

:rotfl: Guys,
Looks like Lloyds TSB have hopped up on the defence bandwagon for the most recent cases. My claim is to defended, although I am still awaiting the details, and copy of their defence (That should be interesting!).
I was a Manager in LloydsTSB, before being made redundant 2 years ago, and I fully intend to take them on all the way, as I know that the charges they impose, are no where near the cost of their admin etc... - Watch this space.

Hi
Could some -one please advise me on what I should do now!!
I won on default from lloyds last wednesday the 13th june,:j The amount I claimed for was £3562.55 + charges at 8% of £285 total amount to claim was £3847.55. They paid into my account today £3278.77p. I havent got a clue how they came to this figure!! Shall I write to them and ask them to explain how it was made up and ask them for the rest (£568.78)? also I was hoping to claim back my court costs of £120 for the initial MCOL and the £100 when they decided to defend the claim and referred it back to my local court! Is it worth doing or shall I just cut and run!!0 -
I can't help but wonder if you would make a really useful witness to all Lloyds cases if you used to be one of their managers!
Have you ever thought about using this past connection to help everyone on here? Being one of those little people that Lloyds are stepping all over on a daily basis i know that i would really appricate any inside info you can provide!

My case against LLoyds is going to court on 12th July. Still havent heard anything. One thing im concerned about is that the Judge decided i didnt need to fill in a questionnaire. Can anyone tell me why that would be?
Should I contact anyone to see what is happening or sit tight and go to court? And who should I take with me? i dont know any legal eagles and couldnt afford anyone anyway - single mother, working full time etc. so no money!:beer:0
