Well i wont hold my breath for quick payout -
fingers and all that crossed you at least get a date soon
Why can't they just pay-up, it is really pi**ing me off this whole situation, they win one case because of some judge and the press is full of it, but nothing about the hundreds that they have lost or how long it takes to pay out.
Good Luck..0 -
Can anyone tell me what to do next claimed £5000 charges from lloyds tsb they have offered 750 do i accept or carry on
reply saying you accept the £750 as partcial payment without prejudice and will continue to the courts for the other £4250.00
at least you've got something in mean time as belive me LTSB is the longest process ever to get your money back0 -
I have gone through moneyclaim and the bank defended my claim.
Got a letter from moneyclaim and the defence from Lloyds but i don't unstand it one bit.
The header on the Moneyclaim sheet said ''The defenant say's the amount you are claiming has been paid'' then on the defence sheet from LLoyds it say's ''We dispute and defend the whole claim''.
Then down the sheet i can carry on the claim, or finsh the claim.
Any ideas?????????
I also rang Moneyclaim and the women said the would write to me once my claim has been processed in a couple of days.
Im totally confused.0 -
No they will fob you off with more letters saying they haven't come to a conclusion yet but will get back to you within 8 weeks. I don't think a claim against Lloyds can be settled without filing a court claim these days.Reclaimed thanks to this site:

they take the you know what
just read on CAG a girl (who i thinks posted on here) that won by them not turning up in court - judge ordered them to pay in 2 weeks - nothing - that was few days ago - she rang SC &M today who have said they've seen her order and are sending it to her bank next week for a decision?!?!?!?!?!? a decision on what exactly?!?!?!? they are now thinking and acting above the law
i have posted a reply to her telling her what to do i.e. ring them up tell them you've spoken with a solicitor and want to know excatly what decision is to be made - she has won end of
delaying tactics ridiculous only cause they think we are stupid and dont understand legal jargon
soooo annoying - rining SC &M the mora, faxed them giving them till the mora to pay (wont hold my breath) however speaking to my solicitor mate the night and getting all correct legal jargon to say to them so they know im wise to there ways0 -
Hi, was wondering if anybody can help me. I've had my statements back from Lloyds and I was wondering where I now send the letter to claim back charges. Is is the Swallow House, Birmingham address (where statements came from), the head office address in London, or your local bank address?? Advice would be really appreciated. xxBack in debt, but refusing that let that smile be turned upside down!

Not as bad as the original £23k, but here goes:
Next Directory - £799 - 26.49% HSBC Credit Card - £720 - £24.9% Barclay Credit Card - £900 -

Write them a letter along these lines:
"I cannot accept your offer of £xxx as full and final settlement of my claim. I will accept this as part payment and without prejudice, but will continue my claim for the balance. I have made a reasonable effort to settle this claim before issuing a court claim, but you ignored my efforts to settle this. Seeing as I have now had to issue a court claim because of your failure to deal with my claim in a timely way, I will now settle only for the full amount of charges + statutory interest + court fee."
You also need to inform the court that part of the claim has been paid, and amend the amount you are now claiming for.Reclaimed thanks to this site:
