dear xxxxxx,
thank you for letter dated 16th march 2007.i am sorry that you've not been happy with our response so far.
i am unable to add to our letter dated 18 december 2006.this is because we have already outlined our position on the points you have raised.
we see from our records that you have already issued a court claim for repayment of these fees and that our solicitors are dealing with this.apart from explaining our position, theres nothing more i can do help you at this stage.
thank you once again for taking the time to raise your concerns with us.
yours sincerely

i done the same the other day (in work time of course) went back through 116 posts over 1 week and there was about 5 sucess stories all of which where folk accepting the "£750" standard charge (of which i havent even been offered yet) and one with a £35 refund. the time scale is obscene - obviously dragging it on in the hope we get scared or some new laws come out on what they can charge
my time scale is
5th april - issued
20th april - acknowledged
thats where im at the moment - expecting the "defence" put in on tuesday (there last day)0 -

Just recieved a letter from Lloyds tsb stating that they are paying £750.00 into my account this is a final settlement I am claiming £4,250.00 plus interest from them for over charging. what is my next step before going to court0

recieved letter yesterday (4th may) offering £750, which i will accept as its very close to full claim amount. it says money will be in the account within 10 days. but when i went to write on the calendar when the 10 days would be up so i could keep track i noticed that the letter was dated 20th april. so not only did the letter take 14 days to reach me but the money is already now 5 days late!
what do you think the best thing to do is? theres a cust. services number on the letter but im claiming on behalf of my partner and hes got no idea how the claim process works so is worried he might !!!! something up if he rings.
ive seen from the posts that lloyds always seem to go over the 10 days but does anyone have any idea by how much?
thanks0 -

Morning Greeny...yep i had that letter 2 saturdays ago which i copied and put in my court bundle which has gone before the judge already specially as lloyds defnce was i was too vague and embaressing as i didn't include sort code and account number on mcol. To me they're solicitors have lied as lloyds obviously do know who we are NAUGHTY NAUGHTY S,C,M at least i haven't lied!!!!!!!Jen0 -
well i have 2 claims going with lloyds at the moment. sent 2 letters with a spreadsheet showing charges and intrest i want back. There were faxed to the bank and also copys hand delivered to my branch. one was for my gold service account and the other for my company account. They had these letters on the 1st of May.
Does this mean on the 15th of May i can go to the next stage ? I wonder if its better just to issue the summons on the 15th of may as i have already stated i give them 14days to return the charges. Cannot see the point of the 2nd letter giving them even more time when the 14 days is up ?.
I had a letter yesterday from them reguarding the Company account.
Basically saying they are looking into it. Well they are best to get a move on then, :rotfl:Bankrupt 1st June 2009

Their reply says that these are not default charges but charges for dealing with my request to go over my agreed limit. I have never agreed to this...surely the charges are unlawful. can I still pursue my claim?
I've had exactly the same letter - I think they are just trying to confuse with Jargon.0
