Hello,
This is my first post even though I have been using this site for a while now.
I have got to the stage of taking Lloyds to court, I have paid the £120 and it appeared to be all going through. Today I checked my accounts and have recieved £488 in one which is about right and only £750 in the other which is approx £300 off and does not include the £120 I paid to take it to court.
I am not gonna stop the claim as it is not the full amount it should be £1763 overall. I have not even recieved a letter from them to say that they are refunding me any money.
I called them and got this number 01264 832297 and also this one 01264 832915. I can't get through on either and am starting to get a little pi55ed off with Lloyds.
Do you think I should write a letter to them or just let the claim take its course?0 -
Also I have just checked my claim and it is issued and dated 23/04/07, so do I wait 14 working days or just 14 days?
The text Start is a link which leads me to the text below:
"Do you wish to enter Judgment by Default or by Admission? Please select one of the options below:
The defendant has not filed an admission or defence to my claim
(Judgment by Default)
You will need to decide, how and when you want the defendant to pay. You can ask for the Judgment to be paid by instalment or in one payment.
The defendant admits that all the money is owed
(Judgment by Admission)
If the defendant has given a new address on the form of admission to which correspondence should be sent, update the defendant's details within the following Judgment request."
Any advice on what I should do?0 -

if issued the 23rd it will be deemed served on the 28th so its 14 days from then. the page you went into isnt relevant to you until the 14 days from the 28th are up - if they dont acknowledge in that time then you win and go to the judgement.
if they acknowledge in that time then you have to wait a further 14days on top of the wait already - meaning they would have until around the 26th may 2007 to see if they put in a defence, if they do then its onto the court stage - if they dont then again you have won by default and can go for the judgement0 -
