Yep. There's your problem. Right there.
Martin, you really need to sort this template nonsense out. You'll always miss 100% of the shots you don't take - Wayne Gretzky
Any advice that you receive from me is worth exactly what you paid for it. Not a penny more or a penny less.0 -
Lloyds are the worst for fobbing off, hoping that no one will actually sue them.
It is almost certain that they will put in a defence when you start the proceedings through MCOL.
Carry on with the claim - you were right to reject their offer of £750.I am a Travel Agent My company’s ATOL/ABTA numbers are E7760/3970. What do you mean by "this template nonsense" exactly?
1000s of people have reclaimed using these templates.
(I know this wasn't addressed to me - but I just don't understand where you are coming from.)

I rang MCOL they said YB had not filed a defense and I had done everything right (thanks to moneysavingexpert) but there was a bar on judgement due to Yorkshire bank filling in some paperwork incorrectly. I received a letter from MCOL today that says "Your request for judgment in this claim has been rejected for the following reason: A bar on judgment/enforcement is in place-contact CCBC" Does anyone know why this would happen and who are CCBC? MCOL closed til tuesday so cant ring them now! HELP!
had the same letter Lee have not got round to ringing CCBC but if i get thru before you i shall let you know what its all about0 -

Got a letter regarding my bank charges:
I am sorry you are unhappy with your bank charges...like any other buisness blah blah we need to cover costs blah blah. I do hope you will see our charges are fair and thats why we are not refunding any of your charges.
If you dont agree with this information you are welcome to call me and discuss this or seek a financial obudsman service. (who??)
Im really scared now. What does this mean? Is it tactics to scare me-its working. I sent the third letter claiming £1467 on 3rd april by recorded delivery. This letter is dated the same date.
Do i need to do anything or wait the 14 days as i stated in my letter.
got the same letter yesterday - so filed with the courts last night. its scare tactics - go for it. cost me £120 for the court but they now have to give me the full amount back including interest and costs. filed straight with court as i know lloyds are the worst for scare tactis and dragging there heels. go for it dont let them scare you off - you will get your money0 -
Hi i'm looking for reasurrance and advice really so hope someone can help. Basically i'm trying to claim back £1486 from Llyods TSB, i've gone through each stage as per this site and this is where i'm at.... Llyods offered me £750 in what seemed to be a standard letter they send out i decided it was worth going all the way (i hope this was the right decession?) so sent a letter saying not acccepting etc etc they then put an acknowledgement in to my claim which gave them a deadline of 15th April. Didn't panic to much at this stage but now  i have received notice of proceedings paperwork and their intention to defend the claim so I am now panicing that i am actually going to have to go to court.....
I need to know what i have to do now went back on mcol to check and it said it's being dealt with by courts now. I've heard about the 'allocation questionare' do i send off for one or will i receive it automatically? Is that the next step for me and do you think they will actually take me to court not sure if i'm brave enough to do that??? Please help!!!!!:o Thanks
standard lloyds - just read back on these pages - they do it to EVERYONE once at court stage - its there way of hoping people back out cause there too worried to proceed- they will not turn up to the courts and you'lget your money back - hang in there0 -
