    Hi Guys,
Just to keep u all updated on my status re Redstar, I got half my money back at the beginning of march and am still awaiting the other £400 which Brian has told me should be 1st week in April, so hopefully should get back soon. I know Les Hull and others have received nothing yet and are taking serious action, and my hope is that money will be returned before these actions take effect, which would be better for all parties. I think it is important that we all continue to keep the correspondence going GOOD and BAD so that there can be support for those of us still waiting. I do appreciate that I have had some monies back but I would still like the rest asap and I'm sure that is the case with all those waiting as for some like myself who paid back in November it has been a long time. KEEP UP THE POSTING INFO EVEN IF AND WHEN YOU'VE RECEIVED YOUR REIMBURSMENT. Let's hope there is a satisfactory conclusion to this soon for all!!!!

Think carefully folks before providing personal information to this newcomer.

With the greatest respect WG2011, how can anyone verify your position?

    Hi Guys,
Just to confirm, I have spoken to WG who was helpful I suggest people get in touch a.s.a.p. as requested. Hopefully this episode can now be brought to swift conclusion. From what Brian has said 99% of people have been paid now, so that just leaves a few of us needing a final refund. Hopefully W.G. will get that sorted for us all, sooner rather than later and no further action will need to be taken. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE! - I can also confirm WG post came about after Les Hull and Myself plus action currently being taken tracked him down and his link to RSI. anyone wanting to talk to me about it please feel free to PM me, many of you already have my contact number and details so give me a call. Please be aware I will only divulge information I can. having told WG at the moment his full name and company details will be respected by both Les and myself to give him chance to sort things out.

    Brian letter response received 30.03.2011...

Thanks for your email, don't worry I'm still here and working as hard as I can to get this sorted out for you. I hate owing anybody money and I'm pursuing all avenues at the moment. My accountant advised me to go bankrupt, but then nobody else would get a penny and my credit file would be destroyed, so I'm working hard for both of us.

I have funds now in the bank clearing, i lodged a few cheques today, as soon as they clear I will process your refund.

Let me ask you this....Do you really think I want to keep you waiting?
Really? Don't you think I want this over with asap also? And why would I
be still waiting? For money of course. Don't think that I'm being lazy or just simply
ignoring you, that's not the case.

    Regards

    Brian

What a bizarre thread. Sympathies to all of you who are out of pocket. There seem to be some distinctly fishy contributors to this discussion. Sock puppets

The website www.redstarimports.com resolves to an IP address of 79.170.44.131

That IP address is in the 79.170.40.0/21 netblock which is allocated to Heart Internet Ltd of Nottingham, who are providing the hosting for the www.redstarimports.com website. Has anyone approached Heart about the situation?

It would be interesting to see the full headers of the emails that were sent purportedly by employees of RedStar Imports. Those headers could identify the origin of the emails.

Would anyone care to post *all* the headers of their emails from RedStar Imports to this thread?

    * If the MSE forum software records the IP address of posters, I wonder what it would reveal about those who are posting here in defence of Redstar Imports?
