I had to give in last night and call in to a service station for food. WW is all very good, but when you've been driving for 4 hours, its 9 at night and the choice is M&S salad or comfort food, then comfort food wins!

Flying_freisian - thank you so much. I feel a bit awkward asking for that kind of help, as I don't feel right about tailgating on someone else's expenditure. I really appreciate your taking the time to help.0

I don't pay for eSource because I'm a helper at a meeting, so it's free for me anyway :money:

WI today, my own scales say I've lost a pound, so we'll see.
Next week will be easier as I'm home most nights. I've got one of the recipe books, so may have a play.
Good luck to everyone.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

hi everyone - ok so I have sts this week.
I've made a decision though that I am going to stick to my current weight. my oh has been asking me for several weeks now not to loose anymore (he feels there's an important part of my bum that has gone! :rotfl:) I'm still not 100% happy with my thighs and do not love having saddlebagsbut he convinced me yesterday to take some photos in a bikini as he said I wouldn't see it unless I saw a picture of myself. He is right I look good and anymore weight loss I will start to look skinny which isn't a great look!
I guess I will have to accept I am almost 40 and I can no longer have the thighs of my 20 year old self! But I look good and also the cellulite & dimpled skins that was shocking in my first set of pictures on 17.05.11 has gone :j The rest I need to do is toning so continuing with the running/wii & classes
thank you all so much for the support that has helped me over the last few months, you've all been brilliant & so motivational :A. Good luck! I would recommend the photo system as it was a real boast comparing the photos yesterdayDF as at 30/12/16

Ive not been on here as much lately, havent really been sticking to the diet as not been feeling too great recently and currently got a cough/cold. Have practically stayed the same for the past month or so, up and down. Am determined to get another 1.5lb off this next week or too (depends how long the cold lasts - cough sweets are a nightmare for my weight!)
Has anyone tried the new apple pie bars? bought a box this week and wasnt overly impressed!Weight Loss - 102lb0 -
Well done everyone.

It's so nice to hear someone accepting how well they've done and how good they look. Well done dnm. And yes, I agree that for the thighs, toning and exercising will be your friend.
Don't leave us entirely though, will you. Keep popping back now and again and let us know how you're doing.

I think that when you're under the weather, you really should just treat yourself kindly, and let your body recover. Dieting can resume when you're feeling better - which I hope is soon. Even something as mild as the common cold can really take it out of you, can't it.East_Coast_Girl wrote: »Only 0.75 lb loss for me this week but it is something.
ECG - NO!!!!! lol. You should say "I have achieved a 0.75lb loss!". Every loss is a good loss. The numbers are still going in the right direction. Good luck for the next week
Well, I'm as chuffed as a chuffed thing at a chuffed things reunion. Just weighed myself and I've done it! I've lost 2lbs and am now down a stone number :j:j:j (<< if I did that a bit more in real life, I could probably increase the weight loss considerably!). I am now 13st 13lbs. BMI is 35.67 , but when I (re)started WW, it was 40.24, so that also going in the right direction.
To celebrate my stone number, I am treating myself to a pasta bake with lots of cheese tonight for dinner. I figure I've got a week to work it off.
I wonder if I'll be able to eat it in the quantity I used to? I have noticed that I'm getting full quicker. Oh and at the weekend I found a box of Ferrero Rocher that I'd forgotton someone had given me. I ate 6 (:o) and felt a bit ill afterwards. Normally I'd have gone through the whole box of 12 without a backward glance, and then gone on to find something else sweet, so I think my head's in the right place. Well, maybe "getting to" the right place, otherwise I'd not have scoffed all 6, would I! Baby steps, Hootie, baby steps!
Good luck to everyone else with their weigh ins this week - looking forward to hearing how you've all got on.0
