    Debt-free and Proud!
Well done on all the losses ladies :) I lost another 1lb this week (well 1.25 but online WW wont recognise the .25) its meandering down the right way. I LOVE the little graph on the WW site that shows a nice downward slide in weight.

I am now permanently wearing skirts and dresses to work as my 22s are too big and finding it hard to find size 20 trousers to fit perfectly. I did find a 2 pack of trousers from simply be, but one pair were a 20 and I think the matching pair must have been a 30 - I could get them to nearly covers my boobs! lol

  • We're all doing so well! I'm trying really hard this week, as I have a 5 week target to my daughter's 18th, and I can't get to weigh in next week. Been out for lunch today, and had a nice meal but pointed it all. Plan on going on the Wii fit tomorrow and on Monday morning. Monday will have to have a lunch out as looking round a university with my daughter, but I'll also be doing lots of walking. Tuesday should be my normal weigh in night, but I'll be on a train to London by then, so planning on weighing myself just before I go, and I'll count that as my weigh in. Hopefully though all that Wii fit will earn me a couple of extra activity points so that I can have a nice meal out in London Tuesday night, and then start a new week on the Wednesday.
  • Hi everyone.
You all seem to be doing really well with WW, mind if I join you.
I recently decided once and for all that I had to take control and finally do something about losing weight. Can't afford to go to WW meetings or do online at the moment so have bought a WW calculator so I can work out daily points allowance and food points. Started three weeks ago and did great the first week and lost 3 1/2 lb, really pleased. Week 2 I managed to lose 1/2 lb but since then have not done so well, it's been that time of the month. Have come to the conclusion that it would help me stay on treck if I was accountable in some way, so publishing my weekly weigh in results here could certainly act as a pretty good incentive.
As things stand at the moment I could really do with losing about 2 stone 10lb. That would get my bmi down to around 25 so there is a long way to go.

  • \hi east coast girl & welcome! I am doing it on my own & am doing ok. I did join & go to classes originally for a couple of months & so used the online tools. I find the boards on the ww site are great - if I need to find out the pp of something its usually on there or I can ask here. I'm happy to scan my food guide to you which has points for various foods if you want to send me ur email address? This thread has really ehlped with the motivation as everyone is as encouraging as the groups. I would also recommend the eating out guide & also the shopping guide which you can get on ebay for a couple of quid if you can stretch to it. There is often a quidco deal where you sign up for ww online and get almost all of the cost cashback so keep an eye out for it. I think you can totally do it on ur own, just remember to weigh & track everything & you will get to where you want to be x

Can someone tell me how to do the multi quoting thing please? I can get the multi quote icon to be ticked on each post, but I can't figure out how to get those quotes actually on my reply!
  • ok underneath the message, next to the quote button there is a button with a purple & orange speach bubble. Click on that for up to 3 messages you want to quote then click on the quote button voila!

If you've got the tick thing you're half way there! You need to do the "Post Reply" rather than "quick reply" or else it doesn't work.

Thanks very much for the offer of help, it's much appreciated. I've bought the shopping guide and the pro points starter pack on ebay already although I seem to use the calculator far more than the shopping guide.
Did weight waatchers a few years ago online and managed to lose 2 stone. So far I like the new pro points much more, mainly because fruit and veg are zero points now which just makes it a whole lot easier to live with.
Good luck to everyone for this weeks weigh in.
