Hi to all
f_f check your adding up, I make that 13pp, so (presuming, minimum 29 points) you have 16 left. Unless you've pointed the other stuff wrong.
My plan for today:
breakfast - muesli with tiny bit skimmed milk 6pp
Snack - new vanilla biscuit 2pp
Lunch - veg soup and ww bread 3pp
Fruit salad for when I get peckish
All coffee is black so free
so leaves me a whopping 18 points for dinner!Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Uhmm your food for today seems very appetising:D.
Today I had for Breakfast 2 shredded wheat 4 pp.
Milk 2pp
Lunch 1 bread roll no filling4pp, and plate of celery, cucumber, 1 tomatoe0pp.................Dinner WW salmon and broccoli in sause8pp,peas,cauliflower0pp,. home made rice puddingguess 5 or 6 pp, no sugar/jam added ......... 1 apple this evening. about 8 mugs of tea during the day ,plus 3 litres of water...................:)
I think you are well short of what you should be eating to stay healthy. Instead of having the unappetising plate of celery etc, put it into the roll, with some thin sliced ham.
you can eat loads of fruit.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

hello peeps,
thought i'd join this thread to get some motivation to continue my ww journey!
started ww last tuesday, i'm doing it myself just from the information i can find online as i have neither the time nor the money to go to meetings (night shifts...bleurgh!) doing really well so far this week just weighed myself at Boots today (don't trust my own scales..they play tricks on me im sure!:D) and i've lost 4lbs!! wooooo! and for the first time in my life i actually have the motivation to do this! let me give you a bit of background on me:
im 29 (nearly 30 eek!) and have been massively overweight all my life, mainly stemming from my comfort eating as a child, and continuing to throughout adulthood. my mum was an alcoholic all her life ( she died NYE 2005 of throat cancer ) and i have 3 older siblings but they are 10,11 & 12 years older than me so i was pretty much at home on my own from the age of 6 as they all started their own lives and families young. i have a fantastic relationship with my father, we are like 2 peas in a pod! i'm married to a lovely man and we have been together 10years but have sadly been unable to have children:( doctors say its my weight ... anyway, i spent years telling myself and everyone around me i was happy being big, been big all my life, its just the way i am etc etc and over the past couple of months i've realised... i'm soooo not! lol
it's time for a change, i have a history of depression and since starting my meds 18 months ago have put on 3 stone, so now i'm at the heaviest i've ever been i'm 5'9" tall and...deep breath.....23st 6lb... there it's out there! (obviously now im 23st 2lb!!! after 4lb loss) i have two gorgeous dogs called Barney (6yo sprocker) & Tilly (17wk old cocker) and i'm a senior care worker in a residential home.
so thats me in a nutshell, sorry for babbling on!
would love to hear from any of you and offer support to whoever i can!

Gempf - welcome to the wonderful world of WW - I tend to hang out on the 5+ board over on the WW site's message boards. There are a couple of ladies on there who have been over 30 stone and are now under 20, definitely a great example that it can be done without bariatric surgery if you put your mind to it.
There has been a pregnancy on the 5+ board after the couple had been trying for years - she lost the weight and got two blue lines, so no matter how happy you might be with your appearance there's no denying losing weight will help your overall health enormously.

I completely plunged off the wagon last week (dominos, chinese, mcdonalds and several pints of bacardi). Was pretty disgusted with myself when I thought about it but I still lost half a pound which was some kind of miracle! I actually wanted to put on to shock myself into getting back on track, but I've been good this week (my week starts on Monday) and vow to behave from now on...
I've lost 10lbs now so I'm at a third of my target and 5 lbs away from 10%. I know I haven't lost loads, but I really love food (as I'm sure we all do!) so it feels like an achievement as I thought I'd be lucky to lose anything with my willpower. I've been doing WW for 10 weeks now so I'm not achieveing big losses like some people do, but I'm happy with the rate I'm going at as I don't have masses to lose anyway.
Good luck to the new joiners, and well done to Gem for losing those 4lbs, it really spurrs you on when you can see results early.
