Teeny, minty, clearing and hollowhead - well done on the losses. I know how disheartening it is when you feel you've worked so hard, but don't see your efforts reflected in the scales. But remember that it could just be that your body is changing shape, just not the weight shifting.

I had a fabulous compliment at work today. I had the last two weeks off work, and the lady who spoke to me today was off for the week before my two weeks. She came up to me today and said "I want to know what you're doing to lose weight, because whatever you're doing, I want to do the same".

I knew that I'd lost some weight, and I knew that my clothes were feeling looser and more comfortable, but I didn't think that it was that noticeable. This lady assured me that it definitely was, especially around the face (I'm hoping to lose the double chins soon!) Obviously in the three weeks since I last saw her, things have been happenin' !!

So I felt like a million dollars this afternoon. Amazing the difference a compliment makes, isn't it.

In fact, I had a similar compliment at lunchtime also, when my line manager commented on how different I looked.

    yay me!

I had a lousy day yesterday. I was so paranoid I just didn't want to eat. And I couldn't get my head around lunch so just had some prawns and mayo in the microwave. Now I just want tomato juice and carrot and celery juice for tea. Might have an egg though :)

So no voices (despite my only about 1000 cals) but loads of paranoia. Going to phone the CPN tomorrow to if low cal diets and paranoia are connected..

Threw up at lunch time cos blood sugar was so low cos missed morning banana due to waiting for postie :(...didn't make myself sick...just threw up and felt pants for half an hour

  • Erme, Do you really think Weightwatchers is right for you at the moment? Forgive me for saying so, but you don't seem to be eating healthily. Perhaps you need to reassess what your body needs at the moment...
  • Erme, Hope You are ok, but weightwatchers is not about going without. think You need to be in a better place health wise before You even think about any diet.:grouphug:
  • ok just plucked up the courage to weigh myself. I am now 1 1/2lbs away from where I was a month ago before we went on holiday & then moved (now 8st 12 1/2lbs - I too am in the teeni weeni brigade! 5ft and 1/2 an inch!)). Am pleased with this so that means only 7 1/2lbs until I get to goal, and I haven't been good at sticking to my diet since the move. So with that happy knowledge I am prepared with a new notebook in bag to record & track everything. My first goal was to loose a stone and I was only 1/2lb away from it when I went on holiday! :o oh well onwards & downwards :rotfl:
