I'm not sure how accurate that is but it's working out mine correctly :)

the one above works out the same for me too.

I think they've made it harder to work out because people then pay to have themselves weighed.

I worked out hubby's using the link namakemono posted, he's a couple of points less than me, but does a physical job so I'm just going to feed him the same as me most days ( he's not got much to lose, I have a good bit more than him to lose)

Hi all, I'm doing Propoints- but with only my calculator for company. I paid £10 for it on ebay. Going it alone for 2 reasons: 1) I don't want to give them my money and 2) I think I'd associate going to a group with someone else being in control of my eating and I wouldn't do it!

It's going pretty well though- currently lost a stone since I weighed myself at the end of March (started counting properly on 5th April). This also makes me the lowest weight I've been for at least 2/3 years!

This is my weekly stats so far:
Week 1: (8 lbs lost from previous weighing about a week before starting)
    Week 2: 0lbs (:()
    Week 3: -4lbs
    Week 4: -2lbs

How did you work out how many points to give yourself? Well done on your weight loss but a stone in a month seems very quick, I wonder if you're having enough points.

I lost 1.5lb today which I was pleased with and I'm now down to 30 points so hoping that lsing a point will give a 2lb loss next week which will make it a stone in 7 weeks!:T

    congrats! :j

I'll have a go at explaining better where that 8lbs came from... basically, about a week before I started I weighed myself, spent the week feeling sorry for myself, and visited my family the following weekend where my uncle told me about WW as he's on it, so I ordered a calculator and started that week. But the only reliable weight I had was that one from the previous week so I put that in the calculator when I started. (It could've been a bit less by then as I'd been pretty horribly bloated also :o)

I've got their calculator, so I know it's working my points out right. I don't necessarily eat all the weekly points though- probably around 75% of them on average?

    Hi guys,

I'm considering doing this, part of my problem is I'm on medication which has inc in appetite and slowing of metaboolic system as side effects and I seem to be suffering from both, will the class leader be able to help with this? Also can you just pay weekly and if so how much is it?

I can't help with the ins and outs of pricing- but I will say that you should absolutely check with your doctor before starting :)

I wonder if anyone can help please. I'm posting this for a friend who doesn't have internet access. She used to belong to WW quite a while ago, and was particularly keen on two of their soup recipes. She now wants to start using WW recipes again, but can't find the book with the recipes in.

One was made with cabbage, cauliflower and carrots, and the other was a broccoli one. Please can anyone help out with the recipes for her?

oops hasn't copied across great but this is the brocolli one, serves 4, 2 points per serving

1 medium Onion, All Types, chopped
    1 clove(s) Garlic, minced
900 g Broccoli, Green, Raw, tough ends removed, stems and florets chopped
2 cube(s) Stock Cube, Vegetable, dissolved in 600ml water
    240 ml Milk, Evaporated, Light
1/2 teaspoons Hot Pepper Sauce (Tabasco), or to taste
    1 teaspoons Salt
1 teaspoons (ground) Pepper, Black (Whole, Cracked or Ground) Instructions

    • Combine onion and garlic in a large saucepan with 60ml of water. Simmer until onion is soft, about 10 minutes; spoon vegetables into a large pot.
    • Dissolve both stock cubes in 600ml of boiling water. Add broccoli and stock to pot; bring to a boil over high heat. Once soup boils, reduce heat and simmer until broccoli is soft but still green, about 8 minutes. Do not cover pot while broccoli is cooking or it will turn grey. Remove soup from heat; puree until smooth in batches in a blender (be careful not to splatter hot liquid) or puree in pot using an immersion blender. Add evaporated milk and tabasco pepper sauce to soup; season to taste with salt and pepper.
    Notes

    • Fresh chives brighten the flavour of creamy soups. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of chopped chives over each serving
i can't seem to find the other one sorry :)

Thank you so much. I've passed that on, and at least it is a 50% success rate:T
